I am doing something wrong here, please help! :(

Ok, richman. I can afford a desk for 80 euros, anything more than this is a not justified purchase.

Yeah, there are industries where a 40-inch monitor would be needed, like at airports with hundreds of flights each day, but that is not very usual, especially in smaller countries/towns/cities.

You were talking about business use, but then you threw your personal budget in? Why? Which is it, personal or business? Anyway, if you want to use cramped corner desks then that's up to you. Standard desks are more flexible and available the same prices and nobody mentioned 40" screens. Well, nobody except you.

Swealp, it isn't clear but are you definately running those screens at 4k and using dpi scaling in the OS?

I am just changing the scaling in the stock OSX menu. (Monitor)
It says for example "looks like 1920x1080" (Swedish, sorry)

The best monitors I've ever had for software development are some older AG Neovo's. Monitors are glass fronted and picture quality is similar to the old DiamondTron CRT's, I get ZERO eye strain on these screens. And i'm really into ergonomics, left handed mouse, split keyboard, height adjustable triple monitor stand, if monitors were not good I would not run them!

I also do amateur Motorsport photography, all the photos are processed on the same AG Neovo's

A few years ago I visited OCUK and looked at all the screens being demo's, was totally non impressed by everything I was looking at. Other thing with AG Neovo's there reliability, I look at posts on OCUK about monitors failing and dead pixels, well all my AG Neovos have been faultless. Also AG Neovo are on NASA's approved list!

So there you go AG Neovo's, I think there some of the best monitors in the world, yet you probably never header of them!

Swealp,

Don't know anything about these other then they have a blue filter on them. One of the disadvantages of LED back light screens is the blue component of light causes eye strain, this is why when picking LED light bulbs for a house you should choose warm white was it contains less the of the blue light spectrum over cool white. Other then above those monitors don't have the glass screens on them.

I run Ag Neovo E-W22's, at the time these were probably best in class with the glass front. Also there non-led so there is no issues with the blue light frequency that I mention above. What I can say about the AG Neovo glass is it reduces eye strain, it also improves contrast of colours I personally find most non-glass monitors dull, where as the glass it's similar to the old Dimondtron CRT screens from the 90's, also dead easy to clean the screens. The issue is the glass costs quite a bit of money so it jumps the price up. My 22inch wide Ag Neovo's weight 7.9kg each!

These below are the probably the modern equivalent to what i'm running, but unfortunately they are really expensive.
