Best value for money 1440p 27" monitor at present?

Cheers EsaT, much appreciated. I know so little about monitors, it's a minefield for me trying to buy the right one.
Well, the more you know about monitors the less satisfied you're to their tech, or its lack of advance.
Any old CRT would still smash all LCDs in response times, contrast/black level and viewing angles.
By its nature LCD is just simply broken tech in those areas.

Actually 15-20 years ago there were techs under focused development, which would have combined those image quality attributes of CRT to LCD like flat panel and pixel accuracy.
Prototypes were even demoed in events
But then development of more promising one was stalled by patent trolling and then came economic downturn, after which still half broken because of that fancy and weak organic part-OLED hype killed it.

Does anyone have any experience with the MSI monitor linked in the first post?

I need a 1440p 144hz or better screen but due to budget it needs to be as close to or below £250.....

I've just got one of the LG 850-B's, great monitor so far and a huge difference to the 24" 1080p I had before. 1070Ti seems to cope with 1440p better than I thought it would.

Saw the G273QF go back in stock so picked up two from OCUK. Looking forward to setting them up and moving this lone electriQ monitor on. Thanks again @EsaT
