Check online or keep pestering them?

Just had an almost perfect drive with with my uncle, did the roundabout I failed on and I can't believe i got it wrong. Still it didn't look that simple at the time and i suppose nerves play a part too.

Need another test soon!

Ring once or twice a day ? :)

Good luck in your next test

If you need something to calm the nerves, buy a spray bottle of " Rescue Remedy " awesome stuff for knocking your nerves down,

Settled me down in my exams at school and in my driving test.

Just keep ringing.

I phoned a few times in one afternoon and got a cancellation for the week after.

This was a few years ago but I'm sure you'll find one soon.

the website is AWFUL!! don't check it much... RING RING RING, i moved my test forward twice by phoning up once or twice a day, where as when i checked the website all the time nothing ever came up, despite i checked the website 5 minutes before...

remember RING RING RING :)

You do know that if you appear to be under the influence of any kind of drug that makes you unfit to drive then you risk a fail and more importantly prosecution. Be VERY careful when taking these 'nerve calmers'.

Keep ringing whenever you get the opportunity.

I failed my test, kept ringing and got a slot 10 days after I failed - instead of waiting the 2.5 months waiting list.

Were you fussy about your test centre, or did you just go anywhere?

Out of preferance i'd like the same centre on the basis that i know most of the roads. I knoe "You should be able to drive on any road....." but I failed the test basically because i didn't know where i was going and crumbled a bit under pressure.

I'll keep ringing thanks :)

What happens if you 'crumble' when you've passed? You should be able to drive safely first then pass. Still nerves are a pain eh?

Pressure of the test, not of driving roads he's unsure of.

For me the closest test center is my town, so if I'd had to rebook and go through cancelations then I'd have still gotton my town. Which is handy. :)

I won't :)

I've done dozens of differant roundabouts without a problem. The thing with this one is you have to go so far left for the second exit it feels like you're going into the lane for the first if you know what i mean. The moment of indecision caused by test nerves was the problem, i was right in what i was doing but doubted it and ended up going wrong.

To be fair if you can drive safely then there should not be much pressure. You can either drive or you cant ;)

Everyone makes mistakes, The thing is is to relax and try not to do the same thing the next time. Perhaps you might have been a touch fast on approach and not given yourself enough time to look ahead and plan your route across?
