Best way to dust off GPU?

Brake/Carb cleaner. By far the best way. Just remove any plastics first.

Why on earth would you use either of these to remove dust ? Brake cleaner is a low flash-point solvent , i certainly wouldn't be dousing anything electrical in it and carb cleaner will dissolve glue , and any other bonding agent . its also corrosive and an irritant and again not suited for cleaning electrical components.

Rocket blower (if not mentioned already).

For the sake of god! You guys make so much fuss about this things. Don't use vacuum cleaner! Friend of mine just fried he's mobo doing this. Compressed air is fine. I have used it tones of time. One of the best solution and the fastest to get rid of dust.

Calm down. It works fantastically. Industry has been doing it for years. You can't effectively clean with air alone. If you want it looking like new you have to get it "wet". Brake cleaner flash evaporates, is non conductive and works perfectly on circuit boards. Causes no harm at all. Remove plastic shroud. Brake cleaner and a brush. leave to dry. Only way to get it literally looking new. Never ever done any harm and I've been doing it for decades.

I am old school small paint brush with a hoover running near by to collect the dust. It all builds up static electricity but (touch wood), I have never had an issue in all the years of doing this.
