Best Windows 7 Gadgets

Just wondered what ones u use if any, and to have a thread with your recommendations in

As for me i use 'all cpu meter' and that's it, but would like to get into using a few more

I use Sushi's DriveInfo and "Wired Network Meter" on top of that CPU meter you linked above. I try to keep the gadgets to a minimum

i thought that way in vista, but win7 seems to handle them differently, some are useful and if you have a high spec pc then most of the time you have 90% resources available

I only have a Q6600 and my idle CPU usage stays at 0% with several gadgets including rainlendar and rainmeter.

You can download my gadgets here and unrar them to the "Location" folder which I have included.

Rainmeter is more useful than gadgets, far more flexible and it's just HTML so they'll match if you fiddle with them.

But Win+D minimises it, which is rather annoying.

I just found out how to stop "snap to grid" in the widows gadgets, all you do is hold shift down while moving the gadgets

Drag all the Gadget folders into the Location shortcut folder which mrk included
Right Click Desktop > Gadgets
All should show up there, Make sure your checking all the pages, Then double click whatever Gadgets you want to use to get it to appear on your desktop
