Do any of the Android based boxes do real 24p?
I'm looking to get my first raspberry pi, which one to choose? I'd want to setup kodi and use it as a media centre.
rpi2? i have openelec running on mine and can't fault it whatsoever.
Can the Pi carry DTS and DD over the HDMI port when using Kodi....?
I would need an audio extractor though as my sound system only has an optical connection.
The best setup is a Nuc IMHO. With a fanless case and a non-earthed power supply. Provide the media from a NAS. Use a hdmi cec USB adapter from pulseeight so you can continue to use your TV controls.
Put openelec on it, unless you really need something windows only.
Just check the cpu can do 24p, it was an issue with earlier ones.
Don't use a Raspberry Pi. I've got one and its really slow. GF hates it.
Yes, it can![]()
Get an Rpi2 then.
