Yeah, I did wonder that, but when I looked there is a lot more in the BF4 profile file. Even the sensitivity has been removed from HL's cfg files, so ironically I thought I'd do it manually to avoid causing any issues.....!

It was fine when I first loaded it, but something happened as I was changing my binds and other options like HUD etc. The screen froze (could hear the game in the background, the ticking as you move between options, hit escape etc)

I might give it another go, at least Origin get me the refund instantly...


Its just annoying as the Beta ran fine, and BF3/4 and every other game I have is fine.
 
Yeh the Beta ran really well for me. It's not even technically released though. I'm expecting to play with a lot of lag for the next week or so while they work everything out.

As said, not had any hard crashes though.

I would be really interested in the lead times for netcode updates which have been factored into BF4 - these have made the infantry combat a lot better.

Hope I find the same, my bf4 crashed so much that the origin crash reporter stuck itself into my frequently used on the start bar and origin never found its way there :/

Hope hardline will be more stable for me :D
 
Bit late to the party DG. I've bought it, installed it, tried to play it, called it names, and had it refunded by now. :D

This is true and with that said, I might rebuy it again. Who knows maybe a fresh install will fix it! lol.
 
what i liked over bf4 i played in beta and played it pretty hard is after a few unlocks and learning of the game you could just notice some nice gameplay choices and tweaks.

it plays faster better fps is good reg is better movement faster.

maps are well thought out also. vehicle inf is well balanced. unlike bf3 or bf4. which is why some of those players will hate it as they love vehicle raping.

BF is about how many different ways you can kill your enemy, and achieve the objective, not who is the best shot with the same gun everyone else uses. Was having fun with the repair tool in BF4 last night until Crispy told me off. :p
 
Hmmm, I might try the 347.25 drivers, they seen to fix the crashing I and others are having....


What drivers are you running Kiwi? :)
