BF Hardline Visceral Games

Really enjoying the new game modes in this such as Hotwire. It's a welcome change of pace although 64 man servers seem more of a cluster**** than usual compared to BF4 and that's saying something.

Not worth the full price, but I'd highly recommend people take a punt on it at a cheaper price from a key reseller. Haven't tried the campaign though so can't comment there, all about the Multiplayer for me and it's great fun.
 
Campaign is absolute horse ****, I managed about 15 mins before I simply gave up, it's damn awful! Why they are trying to copy CoD I'll never know. I miss bad company campaigns :(
 
I gave it an hour and lost interest. Some parts looked great but I wasn't convinced on the story. to be fair I can't remember the last sp of a multiplayer game I enjoyed.
 
BFHL PATCH #1 - Patch Notes 3/31/2015

Hi everyone,

Here's a list of many of the changes and fixes we'll have coming in the near future.

As usual, I don't have an exact date for you - that will be forthcoming once we pass Cert and all that other good stuff. Note that there are some issues fixed that are not covered by these notes.


BUG FIXES:
- Fixed a server crash in Rescue
- Increased the character limit in the MapList to support up to 150 maps in a rotation
- You can now set the time limit to 0 and it disables the time limit instead of instantly ending the round in Blood Money
- Various fixes for server crashes with rental servers (multiple issues addressed)
- Fix for the timer in Conquest freezing when the user set the time limit higher than 800
- Fix for MP squad join issue where after the squad leader gets disconnected, a new leader cannot kick members or disband
- Fix for the patch awarded in released game for reaching Rank 10 in the Beta
- Fix for Derailed Levolution where players were teleported to origin of Point B and killed in some circumstances
- Fix for crash if the UI is disabled in the .cfg file
- Fix for Bloodmoney exploit in HH where players could access the money pile through the floor/roof
- Fix on XB1 for players using invite/join on friend after Quickmatching
- Fix for the Uzi's weapon license cost, setting it to the correct value of $50,000
- Fix for X360 players being unable to invite friends while playing Rescue
- Fix for a rare crash in the Customize screen
- All platforms, miscellaneous low frequency crash fixes


GAMEPLAY CHANGES:
- Conquest tickets increased (CQL 999, CQS 600)
- Greatly decreased nearby bullet impact flinch; your aimpoint will not shift from rounds striking the environment near you
- Fixed some issues with FLIR/IRNV
- RPG reduced to 1 ammo from back of cars, with smaller explosion radius overall thus requiring more skill to use effectively
- TDM friendzones have been adjusted for better spawning
- Rescue / Crosshair exploit where players could skip the round start time by hitting START or ESC has been fixed
- Couch health reduced and repair rate decreased to a miniscule amount, making the Couch the one-off it was intended
- Player should no longer Quickmatch into servers with unsupported numbers of players
- K10: Reduce max damage to 33 and min damage to 8
- Saiga and PTR: reduce recoil to bring more in line with Cop faction DMRs
- HCAR and HK51: reduce recoil to bring more in line with SCAR-H and SA-58
- .410 Jury: Increase damage per pellet to become more effective
- FMG-9: increase damage per round to 25 and push out falloff start range to make these weapons more effective
- Battlerifle min damage increased to 25 across the board
- AKM min damage reduced to 24

Thats the one I'm happy to see disappointed it doesnt cover the pickups as well though :(.

Also need to fix the grenade launcher the amount of times I've seen it fly past me only to actually kill me is untrue :(.

Reason I cba with this game atm

It is crazy how quickly the round can change, can be absolutely raping one minute then next round, you just get trashed, most of my deaths were just from spawning in on team mates, no time to react at all

It is a fun game and has a lot of potential but I am finding it highly frustrating atm:

- the amount of snipers... oh and good to see quite a few people with the knockout rifle now, as if there weren't enough OP weapons to begin with
- yup you guessed it, the insta kills, funny how xfactor creates a video listing this problem amongst other things about a week after release yet doesn't mention any of these issue in his ronku sponsored videos :p
- the way xp boosts work (so easy to get MVP now) + the UI is awful

It feels a lot closer to COD than battlefield in its current state, it just doesn't feel like a skilful rewarding game like bf 4 & cs
 
Wth I thought that was somthing to do with the way only I see it. Didn't know it was like that for others :confused:.

Got the .300 Knockout last night, and it is a difficult gun to use, a lot of bullet drop and one shot one kill "most" of the time, had a few times where body shots didn't insta kill like people have said.
 
I enjoy the game still, I'll pop back on BF4 tonight, I fully expect that within 10mins I will be bored.

This game is quick yes, but fun quick. Rounds don't take 30mins.

Edit: Yup shocker live chat was like getting blood from a stone and I'm pretty sure I got fobbed off at the end as he "went to speak to my specialists"...

Edit2: seems fixed. Maybe the specialists do exist :eek:.

Although I had quite a few shockers last night. The spawn die, spawn die gets old quickly. You can go on a 5 kill streak, and then get spawn killed 6 times in a row easily.
Using a boost to get the mvp is a bit lame, but TBH it is even easier to get mvp as the hacker which isn't really fair on the guys on the ground who actually won the game for you.

BF4 felt so slow in comparison, but feels fairer.
