BF1 poor FPS on my 1080ti

its faster on intel for bf1.x99 beats ryzen.so does a ocd 6700k and a 7700k.

Not by much on BF1. There must be something else holding back, maybe memory speed and timings.

memory can be a massive jump on some platforms.x299 for eg 7900x can get upto a 30 fps jump on crysis 3 from slow mem to top speed ram.at same res.

What RAM are you using and at what speed and timings?
Is the 1080Ti in the top slot and have you tried forcing it to Gen 3.0 x16 in the BIOS?
1080Ti definitely has all power connectors hooked up?
Have you installed the latest chipset driver from AMD?
Try enabling High Performance power mode in Control Panel --> Power Options.
Have you monitored GPU usage and clocks using afterburner?

Hi mate,

-I have now 'forced' it to Gen 3.0
-all power connectors hooked up
-latest chipset done , yes
-high performance enabled too
-i have been monitoring but intermittent results
