yup that was the squad i was in for sharki. well for round 1 at least.

me too. was in the copter, getting battered by their superior tv missile skills! someone radioed that they were waiting outside the back entrance, so i spawned on the leader for quick bit of glory!!

twas a good match, just for a good laugh, except been annihilated by the chopper, i never seen myself been thrown from top to bottom on the score board :P , i would say we did put up a good fight considering its a community versus a large and organised clan

We are large but not particularly organised.

There is no regular practise or strict tactics going on, 50k is about community first.

We do however have scrims, usually 1-2 per month. That would be where a little of the experience comes from, but you have to remember being as we have so many tagged players the squad sheet changes dramatically with each match.

Worst bit for you guy's is that the OCUK match is quite tempting so you get everyone applying :p

Sorry for my **** poor performance tonight, had phone call on the third round. Not happy with the outcome, no orders were given and there was lack of communication.

well it was still worth the match and something to enjoy

Was good, now I have calmed down a bit.

The TS squad worked well, we just need more organisation and especially on Fushee we needed the support of a pilot.

I think we did well considering, very pleased.

Thanks for the feedback, I was following any orders I was given to the letter by richard_bailey in the last game and it worked very well.

Good game guys!

Very good game - was a pleasure being part of Yewen's squad (my ingame name is Krogother). I think everyone should thank FosterK for organising the match :)

Thanks matey.

Yeh very good, went without a hitch and although we lost, I will say again was good fun!

Glad I did not make a mess of being leader; never done it on that scale before. :)

Yeh, if we played together a bit more, and had a rough idea of what we wanted to do with a command structure, we could do well!

We were not humiliated which I was expecting and I think we were not a walkover and put up a bit of a fight. :)

I was well impressed by everyone playing on my squad, we did some serious l33t skills and came top squad for OcUK on all the maps if I remember correctly.

We should arrange some play time together and get a command structure worked out, as I want a rematch on the grounds they outnumbered us for a bit.

(That is really the only thing that could have gone better, bar us winning :D)

You took it a few times as you got me with arty :p

Yes, but at least you had people prepared to be a pilot on the map, we did not even have that as Killerkebab couldnt make it and Noni did not show up; our two designated pilots.

Still think the fushee map choice was a bad one.

VOIP squad took it in round 1.
^ can't remember names of members?

Stromed the back entrance ;) LOL!

yeah we did well in that instant, i was squad leader (hollandfc) but only for that round, the rounds after or before (sharqi anyway) we were owned by brigs in the heli and there wasnt many orders given by the squad leaders of the squads i was in, jets sat empty on FuShe, and we never really had a commander throughout.

all in all, a good game, although i feel an experienced commander would have made it all a lot closer.

(thanks to foster - ps was j/k about the suicide jet ;))

Glad you like Twizla and my Helo skills, we tried to keep the rapage to a miminum until u only had one flag left. I particularly enjoyed wiping out a whole squad taking the TV station flag with my TV missile, the jump out and re-cap the flag while Twizla hovered over it :D

I was expecting a walkoverbased on the previous match and it wasnt, especially on the first round of sharqi, you put up a damn good fight so i must commend you all!

Like you say, a good Pilot/gunner can control the whole map on sharqi. At one point a squad were on the beach round the back of the TV station. The commander spotted them and we wiped them out, if a foot squad had been sent to do it they may have lost and in turn lost the TV station

got wound up when my own team minus'ed me loads of points for repeatedly walking on my claymores and giving me a TK!

I can relate to that, I went from top of the OcUK scoreboard to near bottom in the space of 2mins due to people carelessly driving over mines. It was made all the worse when in one case I stood by some of my mines shooting a pistol at them

Anyway, great laugh - thanks for organising.

Excellent game. really enjoyed it. We should all play together more often i have a few of you on X-fire now, reckon it is feasible to get a server running OcUK server

A group of us rented one for 3 months (at a cost of over £200) but it fell apart due to the fact that with so many people having an input to the running of the server there were differing views on server rules, a few people lost interest in BF2 and due to so many other ranked servers popping up the server would remain empty during the day unless a group of us went on early in the day to start it off.
