BF2: [OcUK] vs =50K= MKII

Something doesn't feel right, why would a semi-organised clan want to play a bunch of amateurs who don't play together, haven't played for very long and/or mainly play for fun? Apologies if you aren't an amateur but I've whipped up this leaderboard and it bothers me that they would even bother playing against us especially as we were comprehensively whupped last time.

If it's for practice they're after why not organise a scrim against a proper clan or do clan vs public on their server?

I can not get the leaderboard to work. :(

Its the history. Many of the founders of 50K met up here, and much of their member base is ex-OcUK.

It's not a scrim, just a bit of a laugh. Most of the OcUK people play on the 50K servers.

A lot of people had fun last time, but it was somewhat overshadowed by the fact that there were bunnyhoppers and noob-tubers on both teams. Most the people that played wanted a rematch after 1.2 came out. Now that we've had 1.22, and everything seems settled, we're having another night.

There's no hidden motives to it, it's just a fun night for 50K and OcUK, regardless of who wins. It's rare to get a good game on BF2 due to people attacking red circles, teamkilling, and all sorts of other annoyances.

At 50K we know that the OcUK forum members aren't idiots when it comes to BF2, as most of them play on our servers. What does this mean? If we have a game with OcUK, it'll be good fun due to people playing fairly and well. It's a break for our admins, and it's a good laugh for everyone involved.

As for 50K being a semi-organised clan.. well, yeah, I agree. We don't really play in clan matches, though. 50K is more about teamwork and good games for those on the servers. Having the =50K= tag just says that you're a good person, willing to play in squads with others, and that you want to have a good time. We're not one of these elitist clans, we're a community.

Everything all fine and dandy then?

What he said ^

50K is a community first, and clan second...hence why a lot of you guys are registered on our forums as many of us are registered here. Very rarely do we play in clan matches.

It'd be nice to have a re-match and try and put right some of the hostilities of last time. Even with the problems (which were sorted in the end) it was still good fun last time, and now some of you guys have had more time to play (together) heres hoping for a closer match!

And yes, it'd be nice to have a break from kicking tards :D

just a suggestion shall we all meet up on a server for some practise all 25 + subs then make two teams... so we can play together... i have played on a practise server with yewen and siders that might be a good place to meet... [46hz] practise server hopefully yewen will know the IP... just have to sort a date when everyone is available
