I made a copy of my BF2 folder and then installed the patch. However with there only being US servers available, pings are high and it's quite laggy.

You boys can download a beta version if you like, ill be waiting for the official one. Totalbf2 threads show multiple problems with this supposed patch (probably because its an old beta version)

Wise move, I guess you guys won't be playing BF2 until you either reinstall or they release a new patch ... I think I'm right in assuming its not backwardly compatible

Just been playing 1.2, its WAY better than any other patches before. New ranks, new weps, no more c4 throwing, no more noob 203ers, not more prone jumping etc.

I haven't played BF2 in ages now because of the same reason they did with the first one.

Maybe they'll get it right with BF3 ................ DOUBT IT THOUGH.

you have a new sniper rifle and the anti tank has the p90.just a pity i used my free unlocks on 5,000 more points till i get another one
