Hell Yeh!!

Unfortunatly, the majority of servers are clan server, with weird rules like 'No Claymores' and even 'No Snipers'. but apart from the odd crappy clan, its still a great teamwork game to play!
 
Great game still the best team multiplayer around and its over 2 years old. Like malc said join squads and stick with the vets. Also remeber that you can pick up kits from dead bodies. The mumber of times that saved my ass is just silly.

Wow, I've just been having the best time ever on Infantry Only servers. It really does make it an entirely different game, thankfully one that's great fun to play.

Loads of reasons things improved i s'pose & my examples could just be coincidence, all i know is it happened. All this year i have gone from one server to the next picking up full squad teamwork based gameplay. Nothing prearranged just casual public play as & when i fancy. No matter when i go on my squad fills & the team plays together. On the odd occasion it don't i just leave & join the next server.
I am high ranked so that helps when you need support/squad members but even noobs play in squads & follow orders in my experience.
I have to say that noobs to BF2 are superb as squad members as they are keen to do well/score well & are feeling that buzz i had ages ago.
Noobs are what will keep BF2 going & vets know & respect that.
I would advise anyone new to BF2 to play Infantry only at first as this is where teamwork is needed more than most & lack of teamwork is pretty much a death sentence. Squad up & work as a team or Die to be quite honest. Just join a squad as medic & keep your Squad leader alive first then squad members second, give your life to revive the squad leader as this is Key to success as a squad. drop packs for the others but whatever you do revive your squad leader. Then just follow orders & use voip but only when needed.
On vehicle maps it is different & you do have to look for a teamwork based server. You may have to go on 3 to find 2 teams having it proper. Don't get involved in any Tard behaviour though, if there are idiots on there killing for planes & armour just leave, don't waste your gaming time on some retard just leave. With vehicles practise makes perfect is about all i can say but all vehicles are instinctive.
With the Awards scheme it's like single player achievements built into your multiplayer game but also as you gradually go up in rank you are required to get certain badges/awards Before you rank up. This works out perfect as by the time you are high rank you have worked your way round All classes & all armour/planes/jets etc etc etc

that is true that he has a lot better kdr with nades than AR's

and uses a tank mainly but where are your stats you probably posted them to me before but i cant find them <_<
 
2000 hours played & how many in a Tank ? 287 hours.
You slate me for killing with nades when my most played class is Medic :p
I do the same in BF2 as i have in Any game & that is to use my nades first saving 1 for when i die which gets dropped at my feet.

I've just had another big infantry only session and have realised how good nades actually are :o Don't blame you in the slightest malc!

someone really does take it too seriously. i wasnt actually trying to annoy you.

and yes you are a tanker/nader 20-25k kills respectively you have bad ratios with any vehicle but the tank, like i said i dont care actually and it doesnt make you a bad player for doing what your good at. so stop having a hissy fit. <_<

you said it like you always play medic when its evident you don't even though it is the best kit.

I have yet to see you on a server, but i will be sure to join you sometime. If you want to play at all add my new account GG's <3

It is a game i play for fun, if i didn't have fun i wouldn't play.
All i will say is it is weird how people concentrate on the 200 hours not the other 1800 hours. Or pick on one class & ignore the rest.
With or without the stats i would still play & still did solid whilst the stats were down. Because i have high stats people seem to think it is important & have there digs but basically i have just played it regularly from day one.
I am a Live & let live kind of guy, I only wish more where like me.
Most of these l33t stat knobheads have Only played on there Clan server using there admin power to make the game one sided there way.
I have just enjoyed public servers on my own with no back up or BS one sided admin kicking.
