BF2 Unlock option choice

I'd get the first spec ops unlock if you don't already have it, the G36C - the best gun the the game imo, it is sniper accurate on single shot, and has a high rof; only down-side is that it feels underpowered.

This was when I played Zatar all of the time, I play varied maps and wanted to get fluent with this map. So it was great fun and the Jet dog fights were ace, unfortunatly after a while more and more people came in and I started getting teamkilled constantly for the Jet, noobs would get tanks and blow up all the Jets etc. Hence the reason I haven't played. BF2 has a lot of idiots.

Other acc's like I said some of them I can't even remember but most were buddy accounts for chopper piloting for friends etc.

All got playing Solo without clans or clan servers or Multiple accounts.
About a 1000 hours on foot and around 300 in Armour i have never been one for the Jets. I prefer to do my killing up close.
IO servers for the win these days i am in love with 64 man IO BF2 battles they are the pinnacle of my gaming life :p


O and Thanks for giving me the oppurtunity of flashing my HUGE E ***** as i am running out of excuses to post it :D

IO doesn't appeal to me, I'd rather have big lumbering tanks to blow up with C4, than raining nades and medic/ammo pack spam.

Ya I stopped playing months ago. Theres nothing I hate more than idiots that see 2 people in the chopper doing very good and they tk them, that happened to me n a buddy all of the time constantly. You land to repair they throw C4 on your chopper. When they get the chopper they roll and crash. I used to take out moving Jets with the TV missile lol and one time on Wake someone here lee2k6 or something I didn't know who he was then, but he banned me for taking him out a few times while he was in the Jet doing bombing runs on our airfield and he banned me for aimbot lol.

But ya I've played with many colonels and higher, thats the main players I played with. I played with Inc|loki, *N20*, spec1al_k, Aceman2004 (this guys one of the best pilot/gunner combinations I've come accross.) Papa_static, P_static_2 etc.
 
Macabre Okay since I probly have the most points in all out of everyone here :p , even though I haven't played in a while I have every weapon unlocked, so basically the weapons I use and I've mastered them all pretty much.

back OT, like siders stated you really only need 1 gun and that is the AK-101, just use that and be pro like us
 
i just hate the fact when people in tanks just roll back and forth on spawn points without trying to take the flag at all. not even in the slightest. that is why i prefer infantry only nowadays. also i got sick of being jet/heli raped all the time lol

True, thats why I don't play Karkand anymore, everytime you spawn you die lol.
 
Things have improved loads since the release of 2142.
Nowadays you are much more likely to find a good game of team players. Make a squad and it fills, start auto spotting jets and choppers and your own steam it. Auto spot armour and a jet craps on it, auto spot a sniper and just about every infantry dude steams him :p easy meat.
64 man IO servers rox my gaming world. Commanders nowadays need to be a high rank to get the job or next round someone like me will take over. Orders are given and taken well and the battles are much more structured towards team play.
As the standard is set from above it naturally falls down to others that join BF2. BF2 players from day one like me Expect teamwork and if we don't get it we Kick off :p
Best thing about BF2 is anybody can kill anybody. Some noob with an hours play can kill me and that makes for a good buzz all round.
I am well happy if noobs join my squad as they are as keen as i am to Kill and do well for the team.
Vets are usually a pain in the butt and wander off doing whatever floats there boat.


Anyway Enemy Goat spotted i'm out of here :p

Ya thats the thing when I played in pubs it was somewhat "crap" a lot of the time. Okay the odd time you got a good teamwork round but if I was playing on my own, what would happen is you get half of the team on the heli port tking for the chopper, half the team on the runway tking for the jet, now thats all of the team, and they would pretty much stay there and wait while the other team capps the flags, I remember it was me and another "noob" he was a low rank roughly corporal but made the effort to cap flags, I capped flags, he did too while the rest of the team even the high rankers just sat tking for the vehicles.

Its like you call for backup and no one even bothers, I couldn't be bothered with that crap. Tbh you get a lot of noobs, low rankers but a lot of them actually take the time to do something that benefits the team.

I'll get back into playing it yeah but problem is a lot of my buddies who played it don't anymore due to the same reason I stopped. We enjoyed using the heli, not to spawn rape all of the time but heli battles were great. All my m8's irl stopped playing it too, not due to the same thing as most of them didn't even use the vehicles.

bah i thought that was just called spotting........i didnt understand the "auto" part
 
Spotting is when you i.d something the auto spotting selects whether sniper/jet/tank etc automatically.

Am i being pedantic or do i just want to look at my avatar some more ? You decide :p

ah i see what you mean......i dont think i have ever "manually spotted" unless im messing about on a near empty server on infantry only and start spotting boats and jets when they dont even exist on the map :D

oh and the first one :D
 
:p We do that on the IO servers its Hilarious to get a few of you dropping red jets and red tanks everywhere.
My favourite all time saying to type in though is
"Enemy Goat Spotted"

Loki, I was on an IO server with him the other day. ALL he does is as soon as someone shoots at him he'll hop around until he finds you then he'll dolphin dive to the floor and take you out. Players like that totally ruin OI/the game. Not to mention he is probably the most big headed person I've played with in BF2.
