BF2 Unlock option choice

I actually stopped playing months ago. Last month I decided to pick it up again. Easier now to find servers with spaces in and the Lamer-count seems lower. A lot of players seem to do their job.

I've even given Spec Ops a proper try at last and am enjoying it. The night maps put me off and it's nice to see that most servers seem to have dropped them.

Like I always said. BF2, with the right squad and commander, is one of the best games available. But, with the wrong commander and a bunch idiots who care little about objectives, can also be the worst game available. :)
 
im also not a fan of the bunny hopping/dolphin diving antics. my squad has joined a league which has specific rules against this sort of behaviour and in any matches we play things like this are prohibited.
 
Even though I don't bunny hop or any of that a lot of colonels and high rankers do it, not to burst your bubble.

Any 1 up for a game?

Thats RDVOLX, I played a lot on the same server with him on Karkand, tbh its not really enjoyable at all. Most bunny hop use macros but rd volx was the worst for it. Phantom another one on the top 10 he was bad for the grenade spam lol.
 
Medic unlocks are both awesome. The final medic gun is by far the best in the game. Deadly and you can pretty much snipe with it. Unbelievable little gun (G36e).

The final sniper unlock is awesome too. Utterly deadly.

Yeh, that's the thing. Most of the people I play with they get to Colonel or get some stars and they start bunny hopping. It's like because they have a high rank now they should bunny hop to be like the rest of the high rankers. It's stupid, that's what put me off playing in clan matches and stuff.

I'm going to play SF in a min if anyone wanst to join me. Max Carnage anything goes Ghost Town and Warlord only.

Well i'm a Colonel and i don't bunny hop. I do drop to prone for accuracy.
I can take your eye out with a nade though from further away than most :D

Siders. Soon be Colonel mate nice one. It is the first promo i got where i noticed a difference from other players. Your squads fill much quicker and people listen and can be encourage to teamwork. You also get followed about quite a bit which is great for IO's/back up. Medics love reviving a Colonel it seems as these days i hardly have to press I Need a medic before i am revived.
 
i dont even notice other players ranks when im playing.....usually i have the squad scores selected which only shows what class everyone is
 
Lol yeh. It's nice when gunning/flying a chopper too. When I was a Captain or there-abouts I used to get red-lined all the time when trying to get into the gunners seat. Now I'm a higher rank they seem to fly me about, don't even ask if I'm good with the TV or anything, lol :D


Although these 14k points seem to be taking ages to get :(
 
I hate bunny hoppers with a vengeance, I really do, they're the lowest of the low in online gaming imo - scum.

Thankfully I don't really see dolphin divers now, guess the delay they added in 1.4 (?) has actually worked, shame they can't do something similar to jumping, maybe a 1-2 second pause between jumps; thus still leaving it to be used for jumping walls etc.

Another thing I hate with a passion is claymores. WHY.

Palace on Warlord, excellent place to have gun fights until someone comes along bunny hopping down the halls dropping clays. What's the point, sure you get a few kills but where is the skill. Clays on ladders where you're sniping is fine because they're being used as they were meant for.

When it comes down to using a gun they can't. Countless times I've been taken out by clays from the same person. It comes down to using a gun and they get killed every time. If you can't shoot a gun go play single player and learn. Not just drop clays. :mad: :mad:
 
a lot of times people are doing that to get their medals. i know i tried it once on warlord.....but failed miserably lol
 
I can appreciate that, I did it to get my medal too.

But it seems like EVERYONE does it. they keep getting killed so they bring out claymores.

The [BD]AC guy I have on my victims list, that's all he does. I've left servers because of people like him, can't stand them.

I know thats why I'll just take a Tank and kick their ... all over the .... place.

I don't really use claymores though. But I've had the same problem as you on Warlord and it is lame.
