Hmm update:

getting into bf2, but frustrated.

I dont see why i have to empty a full clip at someones chest to kill them from 4m away with an ak, yet they shoot me once in the chest and i die ?

I think i must have severe lag or something, but no way to find out.

Most of my kills are sniper kills, but even then its a >8 shots to the body to kill them from long range.

I might make a video of my gameplay so you can analyise it because if it doesnt improve im going to jack it in.

Hi there,

I often find that if you crouch/go prone and fire off a few controlled bursts at your opponents body then you'll have more success than emptying a clip at him in auto mode

Use the "3" button to alternate between auto-burst-singleshot

Personally I only use auto in close quarter combat and tend to aim down the scope/iron sites rather than rely on the crosshairs

well bf2 had now decided it isnt going to run at all, it just displays the splash screen sits there for half an hour and tells me my install disc isnt in the cdrom (which it is)

yep thats the general mentality of the idiots I would always see on bf2 GStueyXR thanks for posting, my case was not going so well due most of the bf2 players on OcUk forums being the smaller percentage of nice players.

Guessing they must use the chopper and either land on the roof or bail out and chute down.

Dunno what annoys me more teamkillers or ignorant team mates?

I was playing Ghost town and I finally got commander, since we had a commander for like 4 rounds who kept getting it because of his high rank and all he did was sit in the tank dropping supplies at himself not actually uaving or anything, so im lieing next to the chopper and on the command screen and all of a sudden I get knifed (tk'ed), then I type "wtf?" and they say "thats my f.... chopper" I wasn't even taking it ffs.

So then what happens is im commanding at the back area on the SAS and just commanding, so then someone from my team comes up and knifes me and says "shut up" uh? I was spotting infantry that were going towards our flag.

Next what happens is our base is flooded with the enemy team killing all of us, spawn killing etc, not actually doing anything else but sitting at the spawn parts and just shooting as my team spawn. So I spawn elsewhere and get mowed down by a helicopter hovering at the same part mowing down all of our team. Seriously this is a good game but its spoiled badly by many players who are just f'tards and spoil it for others. Not reviving people, spawn raping, base raping, teamkilling etc, idiots tbh.

I got kicked from a server yesterday, I'd sorta influenced the battle and got some planes into the air and we started a fightback after we got spawn raped and couldn't get any up, I get my basic flyin badge and get promited and then I get kicked thru admin decision becuase I was apparently stealing teammates vehicles.
the game is badly spoiled by bad admins in my opinion..............

also is there anyway I can change my in game name without creating a new account and loosing everything cuz I need to put my clan tags on..

At the point of login when you see your username there is a box at the top. You can put up to 6 characters in it and change it whenever you like.

Most random public servers, it depends on the admins, I mean I've come across admins that kicked me for capping a flag.

I got banned once from the boomtown server on Wake for swimming over and blowing up the USMC commander assets, got banned for "spawn camping a static flag" k lol. Also been banned for "taking admins jet".

lol, Ive been kicked quite a few times now for excessive team killing by admin decision clannie told me it was cuz I was commander and wasn't.......
ah well live and learn..
