It does? Didn't play cs:s on my old 4:3 for about a year until my new monitor arrived, screen looks the same :confused:

time to play with my video settings i guess!

under the instructions i noticed

You may alternatively move the slider to adjust how fast the program updates the field of view. Moving this slider too low may mess with the zoom.

Been using this for bit now , tonight i have been PB kicked for violation 89110 game hack so i guess this is the end of the road for W/S in bf2/ bf 2142 . Anyone else experiencing this ?

Not me.

Anyway, a quick thread resurrection here. Just thought those of you who refused to play because of the pretty bad aim stuttering would like to know it is no longer an issue.

I believe now it just doesn't correct the FOV while aiming. Works fine.

So... heres what will happen.

Punkbuster will overnight start banning.
A day later the bans will be reverted, and instead kicks will be put in place.
A week later it will be made an optional cvar, defaulting to on.
A month later it will be made an adjustible optional cvar, defaulting to the default fov only.

By then no one will care

The fix has been around for a while, and it seems to have been given the all clear from evenbalance.

Are you confusing this with the command line that's been around since the release of BF2?

The tool is still in its infancy, and only in the last two weeks has there been a fix for a critical bug.

this still the only way ooff doing this for bf2142, thinking of reinstalling it.
