They can check and verify e-mail addresses that are ready to receive keys but haven't yet, because someone else who spoke to support got them to do so, so please learn some facts before you talk.

Point of matter is I waited an hour for **** all, and even when I asked him to do what I know he can, he refused and said he can't.

Perhaps they would be more willing to check your email if you didn't talk to them like they were a piece of ****. So please learn some manners before you talk.
 
hmmm I am downloading the beta now. In fact I have no idea how I am in the early beta. I never had MOH and I did not pre-order on origin. I pre-ordered on here, soooooo not sure why I have early axxs, either way used my key and downloading now :)

I asked him to stop copying and pasting and then I asked for verification. My manners are pushed when I wait for an hour for generic copy and paste responses.

Stop trying to defend it now, you made a stupid assumption, get over it. Yes it was "childish" but they're copying and pasting generic responses to everyone about the beta to get them off of the support line, they don't give a ****.

Lol @ more assumptions, I just want to get it downloaded. I don't have time to play it, you see some of us have girlfriends to cater to, but it doesn't mean I don't want my code when I am told I will get it.

They're probably incredibly busy and they're doing a 1st line support job, these aren't the sort of people to "go the extra mile" if they can avoid doing the work and moving on to the next person they will.

They probably have stupid rules like ensuring they "speak to X amount of customers within X amount of minutes" too.

I know it's frustrating when things don't work out as they're supposed to, but you're old enough to know better, i get teachers talking to me at work the way you spoke to that guy, kinda felt for the poor sod at the other end!

(unsure of what the "stupid assumption" was or what that is about....? like voorhees says, you can't gloss over the fact you said "god you're ****ing useless" to the guy)

You were told you'd get it on the 27th, it is still the 27th until 23:59.

If half the amount of people didn't act like ****'s to support staff, they may be more inclined to help you out.
 
I got my BF3 Early-access-Beta key today, apparently because I preordered.

Funny thing, I cancelled both of my preorders.
Even more funny; despite cancelling my EA-store preorder for BF3 it's showing up in Origin :eek:
 
So is this the open beta or the early beta? If it is the early beta I am still a little unsure how I got a key. I probs have no idea what I am talking about, I do know I have no MOH and did not pre-order from origin though. I pre-ordered from here, but email addy is not the same as my key email.

Of course they are, but they shouldn't refuse to do something which they CAN do when I asked. I didn't even ask it with a bad attitude, they just didn't care and wanted to palm me off to get to the next person to get through their high traffic volume. Why should I be pleasant when I wait for an hour and get treatment like that? If I wait for an hour I expect a simple request to be adhered to.

Like I said, I know it was childish, but I get frustrated by simple things not being done, I end up just resorting to things like that. You're missing that the bad attitude only came out after he refused my request, with more copy and paste crap.

I don't blame them, I blame EA being ****ing retards with releases as usual, but these are the guys first in line with frustrated customers, and I've been on that end of support too, you learn to brush it off.



Oh also v1bez, we were told we'd get it by the afternoon of the 27th, so yeah you know, more assumptions, yet again. Shocker.

Early beta, we get 48 hours early access before the open beta :)

Sorry i don't seem to see an assumption being made, i know what they said but anyone who plays games regulary will know not everything is on the time they are aiming for.

So yeah, Shocker.

They will also be dealing with plenty of abusive, moany and whiney people. So the cut and paste tactic is to get rid of the people who ask the same questions and deal with people who actually need help instead of people who can't wait.

Yeah i can remember what i type, but that was not an assumption.

It is still the 27th, it might not be the afternoon but as i said earlier not everything is ever released/sent out on time.

Now an assumption would be that you've never played any new release/alpha/beta before as then you'd know nothing ever goes to plan.
