Looks about right though. Still can't get from that information what you need for max @ 1920x1080, which i assume is a GTX580 like the demos were played on.

Also, are these the specs just for the Beta level OPERATION METRO do you think?

Nope

I played Battlefield 3 at i43, and it ran fine, so those saying they hope nothing will max it until the next gen so they can justify waiting for the next gen cards can shove off

It was a 4 vs. 4 deathmatch, and it was smooth as silk. I don't imagine they'd run it at any less than full settings.

I think for reasonable eye candy and FPS those recommended look to be the minimum you would aim for. I don't think I would enjoy the experience with 2GB of memory and a 512MB graphics card.

Yeah you should be fine, don't exprect to run at max at 1920x1080+ though with some slow down imo.
They are official, but not sure whether just for the Beta or not. The Metro level doesn't look all that in comparsion to otehr the potential maps.

I dont think a quad core and 6950 will be min. It will pretty much max the game out. Hell the 5830 ran the alpha perfect, there will not be that much more graphic detail added. If you have a quad and a 6950, you will play this game very nice indeed.

Apparently (rumour), max settings or 'ultra' settings as people are calling them, require GTX580 x 2.
I don't buy that, unless they're on about high res with high AA.

Nah I dont think this will need as much as people think, anyway time will tell on release date next month how it really runs. I hope I don't need to upgrade but I will if I have to.

Though be warned, we will be bombarded with people commenting on how it runs on the Metro map again, that will mean next to nothing still.

i agree, this is an EA game which means EA will want as many people to buy and play it, not just those with extreme hardware like the original crysis

Yea, I realise I probably wont be maxing out all the settings etc, but I will be happy with max overall settings, but with probably reduced AA AF etc etc etc...

My pc can play the Witcher 2 on ultra with uber off at 1920x1200 and its wonderful, so I think its got some life left in it still.

wonder if theyl release a demo to test or the beta version or whatever, that way wel know for sure but id prefer a final version demo, of say one level so we know what to expect at it smost demanding.
