Lol..just watched that video and that "trick" has been around since BC2 (and possibly even before - I haven't played Frostbite engine games previous to BC2).

I'm sure all these tips are great for people that have barely played FPS before but the grandiose 'competitive player' stuff is pretty lol-worthy.

are they monetised ? if so it probably counts against the forum advertising for personal gain rule :P

should be in the bf4 thread if anywhere.

atleast make an effort in future like the guy who did the videos of the jets telling you how to tell the speed you need for maximum turning whilst in the 3rd person view by lining up part of the planes fuselage with the games UI

The hardcore vs softcore debate has been done to death about a billion times. They are very different games and hardcore is not a "higher skilled' version of the game (note: I'm not saying it is "lower skilled" either).

Not sure what it's like now, but when BF4 came out, HC meant you would be team killing a lot as the game failed to display the little 'dorito' marker over your friendlies until it was too late.

Blackie is only trying to help people out cause 99% of bf players are completely retarded and u all gob off and slate him for absolute nothing.. blackie is one of the best 8v8 infantry guys around if u don't like don't comment or if u wanna prove me wrong because by sound of some of your replies there's plenty of pro players already in here and I'm sure we could arrange a game.. but most of you are like yorkshire terrier's.... all mouth and no action :)
 
I think the only 'mouth' here is from a couple of players proclaiming how pro they are.

I don't play BF4 and in fact haven't played much FPS at all in the past year. Otherwise I'd happily take you on in an FPS I actually play.

Tips for newbies are great and most welcome. People stroking their e-peen not so much.
 
Westie long time mate hope your good. I think whats got most peoples backs up is the way in which the OP created the Original Post. Fair enough people are being a bit harsh. But he didn't help his self.

Also most of us here posting are 30+ we don't care about competitive gaming. We care about having a little bit of fun after work. Nothing more.


Fair game for him trying to help new players. Tip my hat to that.

I just don't like it on sc, that's me, when i do a headshot i expect them to die with one shot, it's rather unpleasant trying to kill other players with a full mag, that's not my type of game.

Having a preference for one mode or another is fine (I prefer SC, or at least did in BC2) - saying that one mode isn't as pro as the other is the tiresome thing that gets bandied around a lot though.
 
Hey spils long time indeed hope ya good yourself... Fair enough about the post he is new around here and shoulda been merged with the bf4 thread I agree... I'm 30 myself now but still as competitive as I was when I was 15 16 playing TFC and quake... nothing wrong with trying to better yourself in something u love doing.

If possible could a mod move blackies links etc to the bf4 first post.... thet would a better solution then flaming someone wouldn't it?
