Just making a thread for your information about my ongoing BFG RMA experience. I've read through the past threads and they seem generally positive. I am RMA'ing an 8800GT OC, which is a year old and has started showing artefacts, even during post!

Timeline
08/08/2009 - I first submit my RMA request.
09/08/2009 - I receive an email asking for more information, I instantly reply.
14/08/2009 - I get annoyed with waiting and submit a new RMA request, I get an RMA number back straight away.
15/08/2009 - I dispatch my graphics card to BFG.
17/08/2009 - Royal Mail say 'delivered', BFG says 'not here yet'.
18/08/2009 - BFG still says 'not here yet', I get a reply to an email I sent to Jeff last week, which doesn't apply anymore.
19/08/2009 - A guy at the BFG Warehouse rings me up and says he will ship my card today. Checks my address. The tracker says 'your card arrived', but does not say 'we shipped your card'.
20/08/2009 - A 9800GT turns up... but the fan is always on 100%... (Issue Thread)

Since joining this forum I have read practically nothing but glowing comments about their rma and support. I'm sure yours will be a good experience too:)
Out of all the card vendors BFG seem to be at the top.

I also noticed that they don't reply every day. Sometimes it took them 2-3 days to reply to a question with a single line. But anyway, I still got my RMA number pretty quick and things have been rolling fine after I contacted Jeff. My DOA BFG card should be on it's way right now by FedEx.

Almost all the UK RMA requests seem to be handled by someone called DelmaD. I have quite a lot of BFG cards and I've RMA'd a few and you tend to get an answer overnight because of the UK/US time differences. Also, there's not a lot of activity over the weekend.

The 24/7 support plastered all over the boxes is a US telephone hotline that you can call should you feel should you get truly desperate. At that point someone will give you an RMA number pretty much there and then.

Hang in there. BFG's support and RMA is simply the best in the business (well, maybe Logitech's is slightly better but that's because they don't ask you to incur a postal charge sending stuff back).

It doesn't feel like the best in the business, but I have no choice but to hang on so....

OK - so you sent them a support request on Saturday and you got the automated response, yes?

Check your spam filter as quite often I find their e-mails in my spam folder because of their 'Usernames' and the BFGFIXX e-mail they use.

I also have to RMA my BFG 8800GT OC2 card, it's been quirky all along actually! They haven't replied to any of my RMA requests yet.

I got a manual response, Sunday I think, asking for more information - so I replied with the information straight away. So it's almost been a whole week without getting an RMA number - I wanted to ship my card tomorrow, I guess that won't be happening.

Nothing in the spam folder.

My 8800GTX OC went tuesday night.
I e-mailed them Wed Lunch time.
Got a reply couple of hours later.
Replied with my details and S/N's.
Hour later they replied with procedure and informed me RMA number will be sent.
4mins later Received RMA.
Sent in post yesterday.
They received it today.

Stage 1: Your full RMA number is *******
Stage 2: Your RMA was received in the BFG Warehouse on 2009-08-14 05:55:24.
Stage 3: Your RMA has not yet shipped from the BFG Warehouse.

So far so good imo. Its the weekend now so i don't excpect any update until next week now.If I do, bonus.

Tried phoning the support line, but the line quality was so bad I couldnt understand the automated options.... I'm really screwed here, there's nothing more I can do...

FYI - this is the information they asked me for with my first request. I supplied this straight away with my second request, so I didn't have to wait to be asked for it. So I suppose you can speed up your RMA request by including the following information when you submit the form.

Full Name:
Phone Number:
Full Shipping Address:
E-mail Address:
BFG Model Number: (Will most likely start with BFGR)
Serial Number: (Will most likely start with 006 or G)
