Big Bang Theory

I'm loving the nerd/geeky side of it completely.
Even if they do have to explain every physics based joke because the general populace doesn't get them.
 
I love this show! Season 3 ended last Monday in the US, anyone else got the chance to watch it?
And I'd have to agree, the ballpit scene has to be the funniest of the season.

I cringe that people like the show, I mean really cringe, theres brilliant and witty comedies out there that don't rely on two bad actors playing in a ball pit and being out acted by the balls.

I've yet to see a clip that could even come close to changing my opinion that its one of the worst sitcoms to come out in a years(there are worse, 100 questions, romantically challenged, if you can sit through more than 2 minutes of either, you're some kind of challenged). Even clip is a bunch of failed comedians and failed actors who have crappy unfunny dialogue with a marginally good looking chick being treated like the hottest girl on earth and a god awful canned laughter.

Jesus, I watch Two and a half men, i KNOW that show is fairly bad, its just about watchable and has a couple decent jokes an episode(maybe series) but thats out of boredom rather than loving the show, Two and a half men looks good alongside the big bang theory.

And LOL at Kaley Cuoco being described as "marginally good looking". Just LOL.
 
4OD still not working on Big Bang, but seems to on everything else :confused:

I even tried Glee on there, just to check it wasn't a restriction on US programmes, but that worked fine too. The 3 I need to see (The Psychic Vortex, The Bozeman Reaction and The Einstein Approximation) are all up there, but none work :mad:. Anyone else having problems with BBT on 4OD?

Nope works fine for me I'm afraid.
 
I'm not a fan of most sitcoms as most are just...stupid.

I decided to give this a try the other day. Loved all of it so far. Sheldon is one of the funniest characters i've seen in a long time.

The geeky side of it just has me in stitches and you don't have to be a physics/science wizz to recognize some of the jokes on some level :p.

I didn't find the first episode that funny. I found it to be one of those shows where you have to watch a few episodes to learn about the characters/their mannerisms before it gets really funny.

The Ball Pit link shown above is a great example, which was also the first time I'd ever seen a clip of the show. Didn't find it funny at the time, and agreed with some of the negative comments.

However, after having watched the series up to it, and seeing the stupidity of the characters, and the whole episode leading up to that bit, it was genius. :D

Bring on Season 4 :).
