Look forward to seeing the vids Supercrow, Morzine looks awesome fun :-)

Question, need some new brake pads for me bike, unsure on what ones to get as my brakes say "elixir r" on the levers and just elixir on the calipers, but according to Trek's website they should be "elixir 5s"

Any way of telling or are they all the same?

So I was thinking of entering a small event/challenge to help give me something to work towards.

There is an event at the start of October in the Lakes, but no route given, just distances.

25km should be fairly easy, 50km is probably a bit far for me yet. Would depend totally on the route/surface/ascent though.

Is there anything else coming up that is more local to the North West?

I don't want to do a 10 hour ride or anything that mammoth!

Just booked flights for a nice week long holiday in September, riding out in the mountains of Colorado again and then heading across into Utah to ride in Moab again

Managed to leave my Garmin still on the bars whilst I drove home tonight, recorded 84mph topspeed :o

Pretty impressed with the mount!

I had an awesome day at Cwmcarn today. Went with my Brother who Hasn’t been riding for several months and had an epic time.

1 slow lap with Bro at 1.10 and then Got on the gas and got a 53 minute lap. Well impressed :D Even though there were parts I could have pushed a lot harder.

Even better, after a cafe break both climbed to the top and found miles of smiles on natural stuff behind the valley.

all in 10/10 for the day. oh the bike was total Epicness.

Cheers guys, back now and the post-France hangover has already hit me :p
Didn't do the Chatel River gap, as I didn't even go to Chatel this year.

Best riding spot this year, hands down goes to Super Morzine... INSANE, INSANE INSANE.
I was giggling like a school girl all the way down Porridge. 10 Rider train going down it, all you see is a dust cloud and smell everyone's brakes on fire! Hattock (black) is by far my favourite track now and wish I could hammer it day in day out.

It sure was mate

Before I pass out from exhaustion ( I thought it was a good idea last night to go for a few drinks after our last ride.... turned into a very very very messy one, where I ended up half naked outside packing my bike in the dark and rain) , I quickly uploaded the first vid to hand.

ps: Edit... I'm never buying superstar pads again, as you will hear from this video!
