Getting there with the Mega....cant be bothered fine tuning the rear mech (it's all cabled) as it's time for a drink and some gaming :D

Looking good. I know how you feel about putting it together though. This Canyon is the first complete mtb I've bought in 15 years.

The dude I sold that Kalula to sent me some pics of her built up

Yeah we do "that bit". It's called the Labrynth. :) Phew, I thought it was just me that couldn't do those jumps. You have to carry so much speed through that section to be able to jump them. There's another vid on youtube of a guy doing them with relative ease. I will try to find it. My mates are so quick on that bit they leave me for dead. I think my technique is poor or I just don't have the balls for that bit as they always have to wait for me down the bottom clearing.

the trick on the three jumps is to roll the first one, then you get plenty of pump to do the other two easily, if you do jump the first one it just sends you off the trail anyway (its too near the corner really)

that whole section is amazing, always pull out at the clearing and go back for another go rather than carrying on with the labrynth bit :)

they seemed to have patched the braking holes in the berms lately so its even faster now

You'd have to be pretty drunk considering how ugly it is and it'd be expensive to stay drunk enough to ride it.

I think it's stunning / the nicest looking HT I've seen, with the massive added bonus of a slack headangle ( around 66 with 140mm forks).

It's a shame that my wife's bled me dry this month, she insisted on me buying her a new car, so this bargain is going to have to pass me by :(

LOOK AT IT, and tell me this isn't a thing of beauty?! :D

Have you guys (cow) actualy riden a 456 carbon?
No?

As soon as you point it up a slope it steers like a boat. NO THANKS :)

We're all earning 'good money' being in IT right? why not spend a little more cash on somthing good rather than what the masses of STW ride.

I HATE ON ONE - CHEAP 'Chinese' BIKES (ive had a few)

Is this bike snobbery I hear from a Specialized rider? ROFL

I see where you are coming from though. Nothing wrong with cheap chinese bikes, as long as you source a good one. I feel the same about Superstar but won't knock anyone else from buying their products however stupid they are.

i bought a cheap Chinese DH bike. But the QA is in Germany. Peace of mind!
