Can't go wrong with a specialised mate![]()
That's what I figured, massive brand, just went with the LBS who turned out to be the best and have a good range of bikes/equipment for her to try on and make sure she was comfortable/confident with it.
Looks odd, 15.5" frame with the big 700c wheels/tyres and compared to my road bike, MTB's are so heavy!

put offer in on the Giant Anthem X frame today, if i don't get that will have a punt at the GT as it's fairly cheap

I'd say no. Ride them till they break.
Besides I thought you were changing your mahoosive forks?
I decided to laugh in the face of practicality and ordered some new rotors for the Blur:

How do those compare to the Ashima ones?
They appear to be at least 20g lighter is that right?

Yes.
They are the new Ashima Ai2s. No reviews on them yet. The normal Ashima Ai rotors have a tendancy to warp but go back in shape quickly so I'm fully prepared for these to do the same.
Project sub 22lb Blur is officially under way.![]()
Consider a SRAM Monarch RT3, get good reviews and should be a lot cheaper.Torch [P4];21545908 said:Tried measuring the frame today weescot but looks like 216 would cause the chain to hit the tyre, so need to stick to 200 I to I
Gonna buy an RP23 tomorrow![]()
