Admittedly, I thought the same thing, but theyve grown on me a lot and do look better in the flesh, once scruffed up a bit :D

I'm really not looking forward to trying them. I struggle to stay on my bike as it is!

Are those m530's at 19.99 going to be fine?

Yup, perfect - in retrospect, I should have bought those to begin with in stead of just taking the chance and splurging on XTR pedals, that's pretty much the same thing.

Rode the big bike in to work today, man it rolls so slowly compared to the roadie, forgot what it was like.
A 20 min ride turned into 30!
Think when I go home I'll go through the park and play in the puddles.

Took a MTB noob round one of my local trails last night. I have never known anyone to have so much bad luck. Snapped chain. Fixed. Snapped mech hanger. So converted to singlespeed. Then his granny ring broke. WTF?? But he still loved it and will be coming out biking again. :D

Sounds like our usual ride when anyone comes on an Orange 5, I've never know the same type of bike to fail in so many different ways.

Id recommend getting these though, more expensive but they are worth it.

I have a pair of these with M540's.

Shoes are really comfortable, good protection, the fold over flap saves your feet getting wet too.

Had a little test ride today after putting my bike together, have slight chain slipping/jumping gears :(

Big headache for me, I had just got used to adjusting Shimano with the adjuster on the derailleur end, the adjustment screws seem a 'mare compared.

Cool, will try and make it up there, but if not I'll be there next weekend with a couple of mates.

Had bad news on my Fox 34's, unavailable until mid July so either I wait for them or go for something else.
Is there anything comparable to them for ~£700? I was looking at the Bos Deville but they're also quite pricey.

Can you not get BOS Devilles for 850ish? If you're happy to pay £700 its not too much more.

I purchased a Hope BB and seat clamp today, local shop are ordering it from hope on Monday so should be here on Tuesday although doubt i'll find time to pick it up until Friday.
Got the blue ones as i think it'll look good. Was tempted to go for the QR Skewers but i'll wait for pay day for these.

The Devilles are worth every penny though :) Xfusion have a 34mm stanchion fork out soon but I'm not sure of weight, they're getting great reviews now though.
