Anyone had custom wheels from JustRidingAlong.com?

Also, brass nipples or ally ones, im going for a set of arch ex rims, time to try proper tubeless again, and save about 100g per wheel on my current ones. Or do i save 10g per wheel and get the new flow ex nice wide 25mm rims, perfect for tubless?

I looked at them for my Arch Ex rims but I ended up getting them from Moonglu as they were a bit cheaper! Excellent service from Moonglu too! I went for brass as I'd read bad things about alloy ones..

Treated myself to a new MTB today, a Decathlon Rockrider 5.3:

Not bad for £250! It's been years since I've done any MTB'ing, the past 6 years or so I've mainly done road biking. Was fun to get muddy in the woods this afternoon! :D

If you want to be like that, lose would imply; be deprived of by accident or misfortune; mislay, fail to find; fail to get or win.
Where loose would imply undo; release from confinement or constraint, set free; detatch.

Anyway, im off to Gisburn first thing tomorrow morning, heading to the cocklet hill car park, supposed to be right at the start of everything.

Do they look overly worn and broken? Its like that all the way round and worse in some places!

They don't loover overly worn. The ones that are shorter than the others, do they have the same on the opposite side of the chainring?

Some teeth are different/smaller as shift gates to let the chain fall off the ring during the shift. Same for the rather crude looking bits that stick out at 3 o clock on the ring.

Did Gisburn this morning, not overly impressed, still prefer LLandegla. The Hope line was great fun the second time, the first time two *****s decided it would be fun to have a natter in the middle of the trail and had the cheek to moan at me for heading straight for them.

Anyway here is the customary bike picture.

Looks knackered, look at the middle ring, particularly bottom right of the photo where it's cracked.

Thats what I thought, but then I get a reply saying..

I can't really be bothered to change them anyway, so I'll just change her cables, chain and cassette.

If you're going to be buying all that stuff, just get some chainrings as well. Old, knackered chainrings will soon wreck a nice new chain, which in turn will wreck the new cassette.
