Anyone seen the new SRAM XX1, im going to be very tempted, running a single 28 or 30 front ring will give me very similar top and bottom ratios that i have now running a double 22 and 34 front.

Thats not a problem, unless its daft money. Hope have even announced a conversion for there pro 2 hubs so can keep my current wheels.

Haha, true... just making a habit of poking at him for his constant their theyrtherethemthewhere errors :D

(I do the same with Itchyballs, but he's not around much anymore and in a huff about riding like a wang)

Got my Santa Cruz Heckler frame today, looks very nice :) Unfortunately the headset bearings are knackered to the extent that when turning the fork it just didnt feel right so i took the bearings out expecting it to be cartidge and it wasnt and a couple of bearings were out of the socket things.
So put my stuff back on my giant and will go to the shop tomorrow to get them to fit a new headset. Any better than others?
Also what should i expect to pay for a shop to fit one? I';ve seen wheelbase do it at £30 is that about right?

Chris King or Acros should last years. Hope are pretty average. I wouldn't expect a shop to charge you more than £5 to fit a headset. Nothing if you buy it from them.

Do as like you like, wont change anything.

won't
