Glentress was ace today - totally empty, trails running dry as anything.

A quick scoot round the red was all I could manage timewise but always puts a smile on your face!! Spooky wood has resurfaced so running very quick at the moment - great fun.

Since the long ride on Sunday, I've absolutely fallen in love with the Blue Pig! Been out on it again today, mixed things up a bit with some trail/DH style riding mixed in with some cross country, distance riding. Did about 40 miles, and this bike just seems to get more and more fun. Just a shame it's already chipped and scratched to hell. Really wish I taped it up like I have the Distortion. Maybe next year I'll replace the frame with the same thing, but get it taped up before battering it.

Clipless pedals + Steel LTHT = Amazing fun! I actually can't decide which of my bikes is the most fun. :p

Why not just get the frame resprayed next year?

My mate rides a blue pig and also has a 6" travel trail bike. He's never off the blue pig, no matter where we're riding, he loves it.

I might do yet, I don't mind anyway - The bike is going to get abused throughout the winter, I wonder how the X0 Gripshifters are going to cope with all the rain and mud. :)

I don't blame him, there is something about the thing that just makes everything so fun. I am actually more confident on the Pig than I ever was on the Enduro, it's very odd!

I know what you mean Chris, when i was about 13 he was my hero, watched the Dirty Tricks and Cunning Stunts tape millions of times and used to lust after his blue cannondale!!

Finnnnalllly have my bike sorted tomorrow I think, which means I might actually get to ride it sometime this weekend, imagine that! Only about a month later than I planned (so much hassle!).

9 or 10 speed? I've a couple of sets of 9 speed and the only thing that ever stops them is when the rubber grip has totally worn away :D

edit: ^^event is supposed to be very breathable, I don't recall if I own any though :)
