Here's my old 1999 Caldera earlier this year, very muddy :p

My new Explosif 2005 frame with RC40XCAM forks, XT drive train, hope headset, Avid juicy 7 165/185 brakes, SDG saddle n post, monkeylite XC CNT riser bar, V12 mag pedals etc. Still needs a new stem and the hydraulic brake pipe lengths sorted.

haven't been able to ride it in anger yet, knees a bit sore after hurting it cycling it to work last week

Very good so far, did a long weekend with them on the Caldera in Wales, they are very plush with good tracking and look pimp :p All the reviews I've seen for the RC40/41's have been very good in the mags. Launch control 2 is very easy to use, press the blue lever locks them down for climbing, next hard hit releases.

Pace where selling them from their site for £307 reduced from £430~, slight mark apparently that I never found on them.

Liking the Kona DanF. ;)

Was thinking of getting XT cranks myself but they dont have a good rep for the mud here. So went for Race face Evolve XC instead. Darn they are soooo much better than Deore octalink.

Yeah the chainrings are made of cheese, but luckily Merlin Cycles sells them for like £95~ and they are very stiff so when they show signs of wear you can replace the chainrings with some nice Midleburn hardcoat thingme's and still costs less than most other cranks ;)

GT Avalance Something.0 (Forgotten which number) disc.

I like it.. was only £330(probably more and it was at discount :p.. got it a while ago) and it's a rock..

I'd love an Identiti Mr. Hyde. Slick stuff for sure :D

edit: 2.0 disc

Pah, you have tc forks for that? get some decent jumps :p.

lol...i dont he does. He just nagged me to do it on his bike. I do ALL my trails on my ht. Did a 6ft high by like 12ft long stairset today that he wouldnt do on his FS lol. I did hit my rim when i landed cause my tyre was at like 10psi :(

I dont need a FS bike for what i do the now,im smooth enough on my ht justnow but obviously once i start to go more into downhill i will need a full bouncer. :o

That "jump" is gonna be the height of the stump next to it and be able to hip to the left or the right :D
