~They not come with the brake leavers the wrong way round?
They do, but apparently it's a doddle to change them around. Mine should be here tomorrow so I shall soon find out.

Lovely lovely bike! But you've actually raped it with those hideous bars!

cheers for the opinions!
Prefer the looks of the new ones but walking in them is ideal as i tend to walk up the climbs! Will get the older ones
Lastly whats the sizes like? I'm size 10 in all my trainers, if they're tight fitting i'll get 10 n 1/2
I got my normal size. Done up tight they're perfect. A bit sloppy if you just tuck your laces in.

Do you find the mechanical brakes powerful enough for that sort of bike?

Tbh i don't think i've seen anyone on a dh bike at grizedale before. Seen qute a few tackle the black on hardtails. As for the brakes... Less said the better, and the black line at Grizedale is hardly long or challenging, I'd hate to take them on a proper DH track, power isn't a problem however fade is.
nah not renthals yet, i'll be getting some renthal fatbar bar in 30mm rise next month, after the first run down, i had a chat with the bike shop people and just decided to get some cheap syncros dh/freeride bars as a stop gap to do me as they didnt do renthal, so it was either that or raceface in the shop and i wasnt keen on the feel of the raceface bars, just didnt find them comfortable.Good man, I'm guessing you got the Renthal lights?
