Is there any reason why people tend to recommend away from Rubber Queens? i only ask as i can get both of them for under £30 all in.

Black Chilli compound conti tyres are excellent. I run a 2.4 Rubber Queen up front with a 2.4 Mountain King out back. However they're expensive. The cheap ones from reviews aren't a patch on them.

What exactly has happen cow?

Saw that the banshees are out of stock until the end of October, did you change to spitfire?

Long story, hammy fists, fubarred bearing, red wine, sex ... the saga had it all :p

All sorted now, had the Undead's designer, the European distro and the UK distro all on the case and I'm getting a brand new linkage tomorrow, free of charge, a few hours before I fly out to France...

As for the Spitfire, the 2014 ones land the end of September (probably meaning middle October more like), so they cancelled this batch.

Quite irritating past couple of days.

Really liking these two now too!

What the **** did you do?!

Yea after looking at the Rune I've been seeing what is available and when, looks like I'm waiting for a frame either way. Although the Rune is looking pretty high on the want list. Pretty jealous you're off to France, wish I was still out there.

Yes the Commencal and the Devinci look nice, but the main factor that puts me off the Metas are the massive increase in mud weight they pick-up and the inability to run a piggyback shock,

Med Black DBair will be the one, in all honesty the the time scale is probably good for me; stop me rushing in to just spend money I mean my Mega is working brilliantly and shock is off to TF for a service so should be sweet as after next week. Just getting caught up in the wanting new and shiny...

Afternoon guys, im just wondering if any of you have been to dalby forest and if you think its worth the trip there?

If not ill just stick to sherwood forest as its cheaper then for my mates to hire if they fancy taging along.

Hoping to get to at least one if not both over the bank holiday.

Thanks

Aaron

Dalby forrest is my local....we call it DULLby. guessing your wanting to go on the red route? its extremely cross country and a lot of constant peddling, this would be ok if there were more flowing single track and gnarly rewards but it just doesnt do it for me or any of my mates.... We goto wale a lot and love the trails over there and always come back wondering how they got dalby forrest so wrong?!

Dalby is very XC orientated but by no means dull, you just have to get out of it what you can. It is a great place for hooning around and has some brilliant little attractions, such as the world cup course and the bike park which are great for an afternoons riding. It is by no means Wales or Scotland but it is not trying to be. - If you have never been and its not a trek to get there its worth a visit just to tick it off.

Thanks for the mini reviews guys i dont mind XC at all. Its only about and 1h30 from me so think ill give it a visit. May also have to go do sherwood forest aswell make a little trip out of it.

Thanks again guys.

Aaron

That looks so nice ichabod, I'd honestly love one but having an AM hardtail would defeat the point of having my AM full susser to do everything... Maybe when money is no object and I can have my 20 bike fleet!
