Any saddle recommendations?
Charge Spoon is always a popular choice. I've got the maddison flux, which I believe is pretty much the same saddle and no complaints.

Spoon - comfiest thing I've ever sat on. Excluding the Mrs![]()
The next question would be, what about a decent seatpost? Something to tie me over for a few months until I upgrade to a dropper.

one that holds a seat and is the right size? posts (weight aside and even then not a huge difference) are posts are posts.

FWIW i just replaced my stock bontrager with a crank bros post, mainly because blue and weight (weenie alert).

Changed it because all seat posts are the same, right?
I do like the crank bros posts but I'm trying to find one in 26.8mm.

Length and Rise mainly. You seem to of missed the word majority in my post.
What about stems? Other than the look and weight of one such as a post?
) was that a wheel is not just a wheel and the same goes for every other price of mtb kit you put on a bike. Yes the function is the same but one wheel may not be suited to the same application as another wheel. Much the same as derailleurs, they all do the same thing but they won't all do It as well as each other!

What I was getting at (of which I did a poor job) was that a wheel is not just a wheel and the same goes for every other price of mtb kit you put on a bike. Get me?
Edit: I wasn't trying to be a tw@t![]()
Always an exciting day! What kind of canyon do you have again?
. Might keep it, but abit of a waste to keep 2 same style bikes
