Spoon - comfiest thing I've ever sat on. Excluding the Mrs :D

I'm pretty much sold on the spoon as it can be had for £20.
except... the scoop can be found for £30 which is apparently much the same but has some of the niggles ironed out - single waterproof cover with no stiching or gluing etc.

Has anyone had any experience with the scoop?

The next question would be, what about a decent seatpost? Something to tie me over for a few months until I upgrade to a dropper.

one that holds a seat and is the right size? posts (weight aside and even then not a huge difference) are posts are posts.

Just like a majority of bike parts then... thanks for the help.

so much so I've ordered a scoop and it should arrive today

horray!

A comment I was hoping for, will order up the scoop tonight.

Erro no. Not at all.. All handlebars are not just handlebars. All rear derailleurs are not just rear derailleurs.

You seem to of missed the word majority in my post.
What about stems? Other than the look and weight of one such as a post?

Even so, yeah a seat post in general is meant to do one thing, much like a shifter or a wheel for example.

What is missing apart from weights, on the view of seat posts, is also the clamping mechanism which if not up to the job can cause the seat to slip.

I was after a reconmendation for a post that was good value for money without the equivalent weight of a brick, instead I got back what I had already figured out myself.

Can anyone help me please.

I'm after a tubeless kit for some Enve AM 27.5 wheels. Basically after rim tape and valves to suit the deeper rim.

Length and Rise mainly.

What I was getting at (of which I did a poor job :D) was that a wheel is not just a wheel and the same goes for every other price of mtb kit you put on a bike. Yes the function is the same but one wheel may not be suited to the same application as another wheel. Much the same as derailleurs, they all do the same thing but they won't all do It as well as each other!

Get me? ;)

Edit: I wasn't trying to be a tw@t :)

Woot woot my nukeproof is due to be delivered today between 9am-6pm. Gonna be a long day at work. Need to get rid of my canyon now though, will definitely miss it.

The length and rise to a stem is something that depends on your personal application. Much like the length and whether the seat post is straight or not.

I understood what you meant, maybe the word I should have used was minority.

Anyway, I guess a post is ultimately just a post and I stand in embarassment. Just a bit of a hot head on a thursday afternoon.

Hugs and kisses to all.
