Just received my new Brown SDG Bel Air RL today, was a little worried at first as its almost a twin to the WTB Rocket V I'm replacing. Although on further inspection the SDG is wider and maybe longer and a lot more comfy. :D

Put it on and only had a little ride, I'm very happy indeed as it seams to fit my ass more. Can't wait to have a proper ride on it tomorrow.

Also some Brown Superstar Lock ons with Blue ends arrived for bling value. :D

Superstar Kevlar Pads also and I managed to bed in the front, seam pretty good. I'm off to Leeds tomorrow so I'll bed in the rear on a massive hill down to the canal.

Just need some bling Wheels as I'm sick off my LX cone rear axle coming loose. I think Next month I'll be ordering some Superstar Wheels too when the new stock arrive.

Still awaiting my inner tubes from Evans online, !!!!! :mad:
 
Quick question, is a giant trance going to be alright for trail centres (glentress) and a slight bit of freeride?

Ive noticed that some people use them for 4x but how well do they stand up to abuse.

a few of us on here are planning the trance as our next bikes so can't be all bad :D
hopefully placing my order next month for a 2010 Trance X3

on a sidenote was down at the local bs today and they had a 2010 trance x4 in but it was kitted out with the Fox32 forks and still came in at £1400 !!! :confused:

Why would anyone want the Giant X3 when the spec of the Specialized and Cube is so much better? Plus you are recommending 120mm full sus bikes instead of similar 140mm travel bikes. They are more XC/Trail bikes and not Trail/AM.

Are you basing purchases purely on looks again? :p
