Hi guys, can i ask a totaly noob question?

Just got my bike home, and the springs on the wheel hub where the fork goes onto, where does the spring have to be (for the quick release mech)? thanks

They go between the end of the QR Skewer and the fork. I usually put them in the bin.

ah right, so the side away from the wheel, i.e. front forks, the left one, the speing goes on the left of the fork and on the right fork its on the right side

Was meant to be competing but was ill all last week so didnt make the trip

According to people who were riding it was a joke, spectators were just totally messing up the corner, rocks, banana skins, pooring beer over people as they went past.

But still rather funny

depend how heavy you are i think you need about 15% sag
and your front sus the on this i do is clean and lube them makeing sure the seals are free from muck and if they are bad they may need a service which will require you taking to a bike shop and them sending them off to the manufacturer.

Whatever you are comfortable with and the conditions. PSI is a very personal preference type thing. I tend to run all my tyres quite low.

Check the manual for your rear shock, you can normally download them and it will recommend a psi to weight ratio.

For the fork keep the stantions clean and then lube up with...

Ah sorry, thought you meant your tyres... DOH.
Same applies though, use the guidance PSI for your shock, but ride what you are comfy with/like

I like my 2.5 Nevegals. They grip really well before losing all control with no notice what so ever. Makes things "interesting".

Have one on the front of my Enduro and hardtail.

Gonna run a 2.4 at Glentres
