While seat tube length is a vague way of comparing MTB's to one another, on road bikes you need to be wary if they use traditional or sloping top tubes as this shortens the seat tube measurement. I'm 6'2" but my road bike with a sloping TT is only a 55cm frame.

Finaly built the bike up on its annual rebuild. (I do this every year...)
Took it to my local woods for a bit of a thrash about on some nice single track.

I really like the way it rides, feels like its more nimble in the single track as its slimmer up front. Ergon GA1 in black / grey.

Doing a 50km tomorrow evening around Bath. Just hope my knee holds up.

Acquired some new tires today, Nevagal 2.35 dtc for the front and a Kenda Excavator 2.1 dtc for the back.. which I ended up with 2 of by mistake, so if anyone's interested in an unused one for cheapy cheapy then.. :)

Woot!

Having contacted every Cervelo dealer in the Uk in the last two days (I kid you not) I think I've managed to track down a dual position aero seatpost for my S1.

I've got a tri on the 22nd May and the UK distributor aren't expecting delivery until the 21st. I think this is the only one left in the country, although one dealer thinks he might be able to get me the fixed one from a crashed S3 if I'm really stuck.

Makes me want to put some red bars on mine! Very nice

Sgt Pepper, I know what you mean but if the bug bites you'll end up spending far more, £1k is reasonable and very good on cycle to work, i think it'll save you £100s in the future and if you hate it, I'll even buy it off you! :D

My new bike purchase is starting to become and epic fail.

Still not ridden it :(

Had the wheels trued up today at a LBS and am going to email a scan of the reciept to wiggle who have agreed to pay for it. Fair play to them.

Because I had no other way of storing the bike safely whilst the wheels were off I had to turn it upside down which I know is a bad idea when hydraulic brakes are involved.

Having done this previously I was aware of the risk, but it only made a slight difference to the brakes and soon righted itself without the need for a bleed, this time however they don't work at all. Arse!

Any advice guys? Aside from buying a bleed kit and trying to bleed them myself but I'm loathed to spend any more money at present.
