Having some problems with my gears. It won't shift onto the top two cogs, to do so I have to shift up through all the gears and then down again for it to work

Any ideas as to what can be up with it?

Out of them I'd take the Stumpjumper, Lapierre are having to many faults at present and it is also £400 more than the Specialized!

Very close to buying guys. Just trying to pick. Which do people think. I can get the lapierre brand new for £1800 from an auction site

Thanks;)
The Lapierre is a great looking bike, WMTB narrowly put it in 2nd place in their bike of the year test so you know it's a good bike. It does look, and they did say though that it's quite a compact ride, the top tube really isn't very long (as you can see in the pic) and would be very much a marmite bike to ride I think.

What up guys :) My uncontrolled spending continues on my bike....Bought a set of RockShox Pikes (100mm) for 250 last night. Fully serviced and in great condition.
I'm looking at picking up some dedicated cycling shoes for all the trail riding I do and I've come across these:

Any opinions? They seem perfect. I ride wellgo flats at the moment but the option of rolling with SPD's is there if I want...

100mm pikes  but good price what you putting them on?

Are you positive you want to go with SPD's? If not and you stick with flats maybe consider some Five tens?

Well, 95 - 140mm travel (U-Turn) :)

Not sure if I'll stick them on my current hard tail or go for a new build in the shape of a Cove Stiffee...

I like riding flats but the guys I ride with swear by SPD's so it's peer pressure more than anything....I can see myself sticking with flats.
Five Tens seem quite expensive, any particular ones in mind?
