Ordered my new bike today. Trek Gary Fisher Cobia 29er 2011. 21" frame
I should get it around August :D

That one of the new Gary Fisher signature bikes for Trek? The orange/copper and black one?

Edit this one?

You live next to a factory? Or is your lens steaming up from excitement! Tis very hazy :D Can I have a go please!!

Yeah it's weird! It was lovely at the moment I took that picture, the sun was just going down over the hill next to my house but obviously non of that came across in the picture :p

Yup you most certainly can, I've put a bit of my fork lube on it too and it works great now! No stiction when returning it to full extension (oo-er).

That's the one.
I am not 100% about the colour, I am hoping that it will look better in reality.

I am 6'3" tall so I am hoping the combination of G2 geometry and 29" wheels will suit me.
I also have a set of 700c rims on mountain bike disc hubs waiting to drop in for road/fitness rides.

I will upgrade the groupset as it wears out.

Lee quarry was good today. A good amount of trails and lots of berms! I seem to have sunburnt on my arms though with pretty impressive glove marks lol.

I lied as well, it was more like 35-40mins to get home so not bad, and better when they link it with Crag.

Mr Crane owes me a tube as well :p

Aye twas a fun ride! Would definitely like to head back, got sun burn too haha thought I noticed mid-ride.

Btw search for Nigel Page Lee Quarry on Vimeo to see him ripping up the pump track!

Nice one on the lobster arms! I got myself a serious case from the 90 miles I did yesterday around the Trough of Bowland. It was rather fun doing 52mph downhill on a spindly road bike though!

I'll try to make myself available next time you're heading to Lee Quarry or Gisburn, so long as I've got myself a bike.

What a ride from Gee :D

That'll take some beating :D

...and the South African steps up to the challenge :D :D

On another note: I was back on the DH bike today and almost back up to pace, well happy.

One note - do NOT run the Specialized Clutch SX tyres tubelessly... it almost ended very badly for me. I literally heard ne massive "BANG" as the tyre's beading "exploded" off the seating and ended my day abruptly!

can anyone here recommend me a computer for recording top speed over a run and perhaps also with a stopwatch on it ?

Don't want one that has attachments on the fork/wheel
