Went up Carron Valley this afternoon. Missus and wee fella came to, I nipped round and did one circuit then we had lunch at the picnic area. Cracking day.

Took a panoramic pic at the top of Eas Dubh with the iPhone using Panoramatic :-

Great photos Draeger :) I'm hoping my son catches the biking bug when he's old enough (currently 2 1/2)

I'm off to my LBS today to pick up a few bits. Now, to buy or sot to buy the green Cove Stiffee frame.......

Even the 456 frame and revelation fork bundle comes in at just 100 more than the Cove frame.
I've already checked out the On One frames after reading reviews on Bike Radar.
Orange Crush, Cove Stiffee, On One 456, Evil Sovereign etc All are great frames :)

However, my local store has the Cove. I'll be making a bit of a round trip to check out a Crush as well (not quite so local) Depending on how things go, it'll prob be one of those.

Anyone tried the On One 456? It's also a nice frame at a super cheap price

I went up and did some trails at swinley forrest at the weekend. Some of the downhil tracks are quite tight and I bricked it a bit, purely because I had SPDs on! Can anyone recommend some clips to convert them to flats when I require them?

e.g. http://www.decathlon.co.uk/EN/mtb-cages-3885152/

Or should I just get a pair of flats to swap out with?

I'd have thought getting a pair flats would be a better solution.

CRC sell wellgo V8 copies for £12, can't really go wrong for the money.

Obviously there are better pedals if you want to spend more.

Haha, awesome! Im loving how he takes the corners!

I havent a clue what the names of the runs are. Where is the wall? is that the hill that takes you to the top of some of the runs? I guess thats where the SPDs come in handy as I think it makes it easier to climb with them.

I know it is all convidence, but I have had some stacks in the past, and I know I just dont want to have one where the trail is only half a meter wide with trees in closs proximity.

got the 456ss frame and its the first mtb frame i have been truly happy with . absolutely love it.

456 Summer Season frame in Lime Green 18" + 150mm Rock Shox Revelation RLT fork ordered. Looks like the fork is on the fly adjustable between 120mm - 150mm using the neg air chamber, which would be nice...don't fancy a 150mm ride the whole time.

Went to see the Cove frame and the crush full build but the price for the On One + Fork was too good to pass up.
It should ship today so will hopefully get it built by the weekend.
The Giant has been great, but it shows it's limits on the fast rocky descent’s round here. Looking forward to getting this one out on the trails:

Major props to On One customer service as well. It's nice to deal with such helpful people, obviously passionate about their product
