Fail pic is fail.

Gave it a wee clean today as it was a joke after the rain this week. I can never forget how good a bike feels to ride after a good once over.

And what is even more of a fail...you work in a bike shop and you ride with no bar plugs!!?

Can't find any that fit in the bars as they are stupidly thick. Should probably get some bolt on ones but I'm looking forward to a bar through my body somewhere.

I actually put some in a kids bmx the other day as he had his cycling proficiency...I'm just too kind.

Will fit fine, and the difference is .15mm of tread :p

Hahaha thanks. For some reason i thought i had to get 2.1 mm width ones now i can get those Schwalbe Nobby Nic Evo Folding Tyre you reccommended for £20.50 :). Would these inner tubes be okay?
Nutrak Inner tube
Width : 2.0-2.3"
Size : 26"

also booked in my bike for a service spoke to the guy on the phone and he just said to bring it in and he will run through the bike with me and recommend what definitely needs doing and what can wait but will need to be done in the future. Also get 25% of the service charge.

Thanks for all your help

Nice Kona Kula Dx Jonny ///M

I nearly bought one of those in 2007.

Going by the graphics that is a 2008 model right?

You just need to fit a bar end cap ;)

I have some of the hope bolt on ones I don't use yours for postage if you want them?

That's nice of you but I think I actually had black grip doctors before and I gave them to my cousin for his bike. Even with the smallest insert they are still too chunky.

Em it's a 2007 as far as I know. Got if from Kieran on here from Halfords as it was em...just lying in the back somewhere. Good price too, shame it's too big for me hence the short ass diabolous stem.

I know, not everyone has thousands to spend on a bike, what else do you suggest for people who want a new bike for under £150

Well, I didn't waltz into the OcUK bodybuilders thread, with a pic of my woeful bicep ... and call it my gunz!

Whoooooaaaa, his sex is on fiiiiirreeee.

Tubes cheaper the better really, Evans had the Conti ones on sale recently for £2.99.

Aye they are crap why I am giving them away :p

Thought I was on to something there :( maybe I should put the EA30 bar back on and just use the short stem...reality is I just want an mmmbop with lyrics,a 2x10 setup and some nice hope hubs with mavic rims.

Oh and I also want to get onto a road bike like a synapse 105 or even just a sora. Anybody want to lend me a couple of grand?

By the same comparison someone with a £5k bike can call someones £2k bike rubbish then surely. If he is happy with his bike and thinks its the bees knees who are we to **** on his bonfire.

Bugs me a bit in here how some thing that because someone chooses a bike they dont like it makes it rubbish.

Its hard to not be rude when dealing with bsos. I regularly quote repairs up and get the reaponse of "you can get a new bike for that". If they get people into cycling then they have a good purpose but its people who can't see the drawback of such an object that get to me.

You don't have to spend a fortune to get a proper bike that fits properly or a good qaulity second hand bike. My bike is ****e compared to most in here but I still enjoy it.

Yes but subconsciously you hate people with more expensive bikes, that is why you push them over as you ride past :p

^^ Seriously, that is the worst White Balance I have seen in a photo !!

Taken from a Samsung SGH-J700v (black)

Got to agree, "bikes" not much better either :p

Yeah i agree, ive had this bike for 1 year, its falling apart already :/ the chain falls off everytime i go up a hill

Turn off the flash if you are shooting under bright indoor lighting.

As for the hydraulic shifting - Seems a cool idea but I aint convinced on the shifters. I prefer 2 separate levers for each shifter i.e. 1 to go up and 1 to go down. Rotating the shifter round before pressing it? Seems like an easy way to mess up your gear selection if you are in a hurry.

no flash here bro, the Samsung SGH-J700v doesnt have a flash, it may be that bulb just above the phone.

ive also put a much more tolerant suspension on there, the default 1 decided to snap the spring :/
