You don't actually need it. If you insist though I might have one sitting in the garage I can give you. I'll check later. :)

I figured that, only use i could see is keeping rubbish of the axle that could get there via internal frame holes i guess? There was some crud in there when i took the old cartridge bearing out.

So its nothing structural, just as above??

It's meant to keep dirt/water away from the bearings from the seat post tube but it's a bit of a waste of time IMO. I found a spare in the garage.

This bike was ridden by my mate (bike is with me though).
He's 6.2" - how tall are you as I should be able to tell you whether it will fit you or not.

I think that bike has longer travel on the front end than my old moto x bike

So, despite my better judgement my mate has convinced me to enter the 24/12.

I've looked after my bike but not given it a proper service since I've got it. I was going to just book it in somewhere but I don't think I'll have time so what areas do you guys look at before a big event?

Also, I need some new brake pads. I've lost count of how many car/motorbike pads I've changed, but this is dfferent! What pads should I go for? I've got a 2010 rockhopper SL with Tektro Auriga Pro Hydros on.

Pictures! Got some new piccies of the TR450 (more blue bits than last time, also I snapped my Atherton Pro Direct-Mount stem in half so got a random black one on).
Also testing to make sure people can see my public Google+ album..

I haven't been biking for like 2 weeks, I'm getting depressed now :(
Oh well, Triscombe uplift next week :)

Im back from MORZINE, Its a shame as I loved every minute. Hardly any photo's apart from this one. Just about to start the DH run to Les Crosets in Switzerland :)

You need a larger bike than the Alpine 160. It was a little lame by Wednesday. Still jumped ok.
