Why would you not buy a Stumpjumper FSR - the perfect all round bike.

The Tracer 2 with coil shock seems not to have done too badly at the mavity Enduro series which I'll be racing next year. Not seen any Stumpies anywhere ena rthe podium mind.

You asked why I wouldnt buy the Stumpy - I answered.
Besides, the Enduro's not won anything... so clearly it must be the Tracer being superior ;)

Never seen anyone fall off while i've been there apart from on the pump track!

Thats the first time I've seen an off on the trail, came round a corner on the first part of the red and there was a group of people stood there flagging me to slow down and stop. I stopped and there was a guy laying in the middle of the trail with a couple paramedics around him, think he'd come off going down hill and done something nasty to his arm!

It's all about getting someone that is willing to pay what it is worth. Give me a shout on email/messenger and we can meet the next time I'm up in Fochabers. ;) That'll soon put a stop to you wanting to sell your bike. :p

2011 Saracen Myst perhaps? With the 2012 ones coming out they will prob drop in price a bit.

Also, the 2012 Lapierre Froggy should be around the 2k mark. Technically a freeride bike but would be ok for some Downhill.

2012 Specialized Status. Very nice bike for the money, and a decent start to build from (upgrades etc)

For 2k, the 2nd hand market would be a good place also. Prob allot more for your money than buying new

A quick mini survey for you all … something that intrigues me a little more than it should, as it really isn’t all that interesting a topic.
I’ve asked oodles of people but just asking my mates and walking up to randoms at my local riding spot and I think I’ve got a general consensus, but:

Which foot do you put forward naturally? ( yes yes I realise that you change it, depending on the direction you’re turning and you should be able to ride with any foot forwards, blah blah – but we all err to one foot or the other.

If you have skateboarded/snowboarded/surfed/wakeboarded (etc) which foot do you naturally put forward?

The reason I ask, is because all my life, I have surfed in what’s classed as “Natural footed” ( the vast majority of people do) – in other words my left foot is forward, with my strong leg at the back. The same goes for when I skated as a kid and also when I tried Wakeboarding. I therefore just assumed that most people would also ride with their left foot forward (like me). It turns out that after asking loads of people, the vast majority has their right forward ( in my mind “ goofy footed”)

Pointless question I guess :p
