Hey guys.

A guy at work that I know has asked me if I want to swap my 2011 Specialized Enduro Comp for http://www.pinkbike.com/buysell/1025941/

Thing is, I don't have a clue what is good or bad, so I was wondering if it's a swap I should be interested in or not? :p Apparently he has a Nomad now, so whichever bike out of these 2 he has, will be his secondary bike.

Anyway, thanks for any replies. :)

Fair enough :P I guessed I'd be keeping the Enduro, but since I have no idea about pretty much any of the parts on that bike, I had to ask and check.

Much rather come across as stupid and not make a mistake. Thanks guys :)

Anyone got any recommendations for a good cycling rucksack?

Must be sturdy (not swing about), room for a few tools, water bladder, and lunch but not overly big. Looking to spend £30 max if possible.

Back from the second ride out on my Rubber Queens. My local trail is the driest it's been all year so today's ride was fast fast fast :D

The front tyre weighs a tonne (about as much as both my previous tyres together) but the rollling resistance is such an improvement that I'm not noticing it yet.

Just wait till Glentress, then you will notice it. :p

Is it just me that likes their brake levers to be horizontal? I see so many people with brake levers pointing way down. I find them really uncomfy like that.

Yeah I've not done any long rides yet but hopefully I'll be fitter by the time May rolls round :)

I set up my levers so my forearm, hand and index finger are in a straight line when I'm stood up with fingers on the brakes. If I roll them towards horiztonal it hurts my wrists.

Edit: horizontal, not vertical!

What he said. If your forearm, wrist and finger are all inline with the angle of the lever when you in the 'attack' position your less likely to get pain from braking on long descents

But having your brake levers so flat that your wrists bend loostens you up, so that you can get some serious air time like this

I have an old mountain bike in the shed, the frame is fine as are some of the parts. Some though are a bit borked.

Is it cheap to replace parts? Where would i go about getting them?

Parts can be as cheap or as expensive as you want them to be, best place to start looking would be at CRC but if it is a fairly cheap run of the mill bike it may just be best dropping it into your local bike shop and getting them to sort it.
