My SLX rear mech turned up yesterday, it's a shadow one so looks a tadge different. I replaced my rear mech hanger to as it was bent a little. didnt have time to sort the mech properly so just stuck it on so it worked. Also had this turn up (quick delivery from Germany) http://www.bionicon.com/ac/c-guide-v02
Shall fit it today and sort my gears out.
My wheel is wobbling a little at the back, seems to be the bit on the hub that the cassette go's onto. It's a 5 year old formula hub, any idea if they're fixable or not worth it?

The freehub will be shot. I would take the opportunity to upgrade.

Got that bionicon guide, what a tool i am, exactly where can i mount it on the SC heckler? Lol oh dear well onto pinkbike it go's!

Actually just fitted my Bionicon chain guide and seems to work well. Mine's red, but I'd rather have had blue or black. I'll have to see if it really works when I do the Peak District challenge next week as that's very rocky.

God they are a HILARIOUS price for what they are, coming close to the lol price of some x0/xtr replacement screws / washers.

yup are quite pricey for what they are, although there isn't out else that i saw that works on a 3x9/10 setup.
If you want it will sell it at £22.50 which should be enough to clear postage and give me £20. means i'll lost £10-15 on what i paid but it serves me right for not reading up before clicking buy
imagine it would, fits on most bikes by the looks of it, won't fit mine because the way my swingarm is.

Know the feeling, i like white and blue colour scheme on my bike wouldn't be impressed about another colour

Received my new tyres today, a set of Muddy Mary Vertstar FR for the Mrs and the DH version for myself.
There's no way on earth you could class the FR Muddy Mary as a single ply tyre, it's sidewalls are comparable in thickness to my UST Minion DHF!
The DH casing is super thick and very stiff although not ridiculously heavy for a full DH tyre. I'm starting to think that I could've got away with the FR version and saved a tidy bit of weight in the process.
Can't wait to get them mounted up and put them through their paces on my next trip to Stiniog.
