Ta. Going to pick up a set of organic ones tomorrow and swap the old ones out. Looks fairly straightforward and as usual I'm probably over analysing it all anyway. :)

kieranv was it at the top of the uplift on the zore? Thought I may have seen you but wasn't too sure either, we were doing a few very slow runs down with 6 days of solid riding finally taking their toll!

Back now, absolutely awesome time, no major breakages etc. I'll write a bit more about it later on, for the moment it's time to relax.

Had a good weekend away camping for a 100 mile race yesterday.

Tough climbing a couple of those peaks on my singlespeed.

Kieranv after a small PB stalk I definitely saw you, sorry for not saying hello.

Haha it's cool, I only spotted you guys riding past as I was waiting at the bottom tables to drop in. Spotted a bike the same as mine, then a nukeproof and put 2 and 2 together. Bit you were riding past. We still have another week to go. Absolutely soaking today so heading to les gets to get mucky!

2012 Fox 34 Float CTD 150mm Kashima - £600

or

2013 X-Fusion Slant RL2 160mm - £400

The slants are not available atm ETA i have been told a couple of weeks. I'm not getting on with my Rev's and miss my old Floats.

I would like the kashima forks to match my rear shock from a bufty pov the x-fusion seem to get good reviews all around and are a load cheaper. I wish i had gone with the new forks from the start and im not a patient man so the wait for the Slants might kill me.

Go for the Slants, the Fox CTD damper sounds pants (from reading user reviews) unless you're prepared to open them up and drop some more oil in them. The Slants have no compression adjust but are supposed to be great, I'd buy those.

I really haven't had any trouble with my 34 CTD and I've had the fork since January.

It will get a good workout this coming weekend as I'm away camping and it may have to cope with some DH tracks.

That's just Fox Forks for you. Add oil/service, and they are much better than from new.

Let us know how it goes me and a friend were thinking about a group session
I will do, but it's not until the end of September!
Ouch, I'm too tight for that. Think I will be going for a group session!

Haha, I wouldn't mind a group session, but I don't know what I need to work on the most, so may as well pay the guy who knows what he's talking about to tell me. Any more skill sessions I take after would be groups, after I know where I am.

I'm thinking of getting a second pair of wheels for my Nomad, anyone any experience of the superstar hubs and there wheel builds. In particular the Tesla hub.
I'm thinking Tesla and some Stans Crest, these will be purely for XC duty, keep my Pro 2 and DT 5.1D for everything else.
