You can get a set of mismatch adapters that will do the job however the angle they put the shifters at is very strange. Thinking about designing and getting my own cnc'd with a better angle.

If you have a Reverb seat post you can get the adapter which connects the shifter to the reverb adjuster. That's what I've got anyways. They don't do a shimano sram adapter unfortunately.

A CNC'd one would be a good money maker.

Is anyone planning on doing the Megavalanche next year?

My Reverb is mounted upside down on the left hand grip size as it should be!

These are what are currently available but as I said having felt some fitted to a bike the shifter angle is not good. If I can find some time at my Uni to use the CNC machines I'll whip up a little CAD drawing and get some made, if they work I'll probably do a small run.

Just a wee reminder that we aren't all indestructible. I'm sure we all nip off often on our own, I know I regularly ride my local trails on the 'spur of the moment' without really telling anyone where I'm going and what route I'll be taking when what little free time I get presents itself.

Mountain biker rescued from woodland crash

A mountain biker has been rescued after falling off his bike in woodland.

The 40-year-old man had left his home in the Causewayhead area of Stirling at 4pm on Wednesday to go for a cycle in the Sheriffmuir and Dumyat area.

When he had not returned home by 7pm, his concerned family called police.

Officers used the helicopter and were joined by the mountain rescue team in the search for the cyclist.

He was discovered lying injured in Mine Woods in Bridge of Allan having fallen off his bike.

The cyclist was taken to Forth Valley Royal Infirmary to be treated for his injuries.

Picked it up today:

Just converted my 26" scalpel to 650b, went out for a little spin and its pretty hard to imagine anything better as a full suss XC bike. It strikes a perfect balance between being fun and nibble but rolling a little better, its light too!

It's only 9.6kg all up with pedals which I'm surprised at as it has no real exotic parts like X0 etc (yet :D).

I'll probably need to stick the lefty spacers back on top of the fork as as you can probably see I may I may run into probs at max fork travel, but no problem if I put the spacers back to stock positions.
