There's not a whole lot of camping about down this way I don't think.
What you could do is camp in/around Brecon, it's not far from BPW.

You could base yourself near any of the following centres and be within touching distance of others; Afan, Cwmcarn, BPW, Brecon...

I'd be getting your mate to take it back to the shop he bought it from. I wouldn't be having that. How many miles did he do on it?
 
If your keen on non trail centre places i can suggest a few routes but definately do the caefel trail in cwmcarn as well..

On a side note anyone up bpw tomorrow

He did roughly 150 miles on it in the month he owned it. He's going to sort it out for me, but because he bought it online from a shop in Newcastle, and we're in London, it's going to be interesting to see how they handle the warranty claim.

Looking on CRC in the comments none of the pads get great reviews, theres no one outstanding product. THe 661's look good, do they have adjustable straps round the back of the leg or are they stretchy material ?

EDIT, scratch that, I was somehow only looking at the sale items, just found the other stuff, more choice now.
 
I got the bliss arg knee pads (mainly as Madison discount) and they seem fine so far, no crashes typically.

Couldn't find any negative reviews before purchase. The Madison guys run them so can't be too bad..

Easily a faster run than gee up until that point :(

Hope his ankle isn't bust too bad for next season.

Still, GB took 5 of the 6 medals on offer in men's and women's.. That's pretty cool.
