Come on now El, lets be realistic here, you know you will not be able to keep away for long ;).

I personally think this will be another really boring series, because the producers will want to get as far from Celebrity Big Brothers problems as they can. So they will make sure everyone gets on really well so that there will be no tantrums and bickering, and no racial troubles again.

I am well aware that it won't be displacing something more intelligent off the schedule. The point is that while it is exceedingly easy to avoid it on TV (simply not watching Channel 4, E4 or More4 at all for the duration, and switching off the news if they mention it) and is fairly easy to avoid on forums (simply not going into the threads) it isn't easy to avoid all mention of it which is what I would be happy with.

As far as I'm aware, I didn't try to "veil" my attacking of Big Brother as anything. I certainly had no intention of doing so at any rate. My intentions were simply to state the following:

Big Brother is complete and utter toss of the worst kind. I hate everything about it. And I especially hate that I can't avoid all mention of it for the duration of the series.

i mean. its bloody comes on nearly everyone and shes got a bump.

if she likes doing it so much maybe she should change her career.

the tv show is a plague. i must say tho its nice to see the line up of freaks they bring all over the UK

What does that prove other than that the majority of UK citizens are stupid? The Sun is dumbed down 'news' for people for whom a broadsheet is just too complicated.

Just come to have a whine, one of the newspapers had a 4 page thread about it and it hasn't even started yet. Groan at least the radio stations haven't said much yet.

I'm not going waste my time flaming about how much of a waste of time big brother is.

I even wasted 30 seconds of my time posting this, and BB hasent even started yet.

  • Housemates forced to sleep four to a bed
  • Islamic contestant will wear a veil
  • Raunchy peep show planned for sex-starved contestants
  • Couples to be offered the chance to marry on air
  • New-look house will have four rotating rooms
  • Secret garden linked to bedroom to encourage romantic night-time trysts
  • Contestants' partners to be put on display in secret room
  • "Asbo teen" will wreak havoc in the house
