It don't come with fans but most people will recommend Akasa ambers as they are the best for cost/noise/performance etc.

Why were you throwing away CRTs?. I need one!!!! :p
 
:P they broke :( well they work, but theres strange "ghosting" just to the right hand of everything on the nice one of the bunch, its guns are so shot that the correctional settings on 100% cant combat it :eek:

oh! shame about the fans i dont really like splashing out more money. :( i will have to wait a tad longer for the case, probably november :)
 
Right, im thinking about what im going to order, and suggestions / alterations to this?

im a bit conerned about the price of the fans tbh, its not an ISSUE but i hear some people prase the ambers and some people condem them! i dont know :(

I swear by the ambers, at 7v they are very quiet and offer good value for money.

Not THE best fans, but for £10 you will find no regularly available fans that are any better in my opinion.

If you can stretch to some Acoustifan Dustproofs or other £20 ish per fan fans then most certainly do it, but for the money the Ambers are very good. They are actually made by YS Tech if that makes you feel a little better. :)

To tell you the truth never heard of them, OcUK are not in the habbit of sending me free stuff and I am properly skint at the moment so I can not get my hands on any. Someone else will get them no doubt and post an opinion. :)
 
Actually looking at the specs, the coolinks are quieter cos they spin slower and push less air so I don't really know. They look better then the Ambers imo and would go nicely in my future Akasa 62. Hmmm....I'll just wait till someone falls for them first :D
 
The specs mean nothing personally, never been able to work out what they actually mean, 18db fan louder than a 30db fan and pushes less air. Weird... :p
 
I see they are labled as "3 pin"

massive noob moment..

if they are those lil 3pin things then how do i change the voltage ? :( my fans have always been homemade, fans + molex + wire cuters / stripers :D

needless to say my current case is messy and full of loose connections :rolleyes:
 
Did you already order the Akasa? I see from your screenie you didnt include the window panel, which is seperate.

The Eclipse is the dogs nuts, I am thrilled with mine :) Pics will be coming asap, maybe tonight if you're lucky :D
 
OC to two versions, one without the seethrough side panel and one with it. You ordered the one WITHOUT, was that intentional? Thankfully OC do the clear side panel seperately if you change your mind :)
