Hmm tough to call my head says Nvidia by about 10% my heart says AMD by about 8%

Im going to go with Nvidia, based purely off the fact AMD are likely to release first giving Nvidia the advantage of potentially tweaking and getting better results.

Nvidia 10% stock and OC'd (praying im proven wrong)
 
Gameworks titles Pascal 7%
Other titles Polaris 6%

Overall Polaris by 6%

AMD - with big Polaris; and Gemini when crossfire works; but that's mainly for VR

Ok Polaris 8% stock and most likely 7-10% OC

Gemini - 15% faster over all

I expect the Titan pascal and flagship Polaris will be neck and neck at stock but pascal may pull ahead slightly when you push both to their max by 5% or so once you ramp the titans up fan as it will likely come with ref cooler.

So 5% in favour of pascal. Will you buy the winner The fastest card :p:)
 
Polaris by 10% in benchmarks stock, trading blows in most games, ahead in some, level in Nv partnered games

Also, Polaris to paper launch 3 months before NV, super low availability until Pascal hits

Polaris Radeon Fury Maxx 2 shinny rims edition. 30% bettererest.

And with the majority of claims in this forum I base this on absolutely no evidence whatsoever.
 
I recon AMD will bring out Polaris first, giving Nvidia time to tweak pascal so that it's 5% faster and packs more memory.
 
Averaged over the usual benchmarks (3dMark/Heaven etc) I think Pascal will be faster by 8%. With both cards overclocked, Pascal faster by 10%. I expect driver improvements to narrow the gap between Polaris and Pascal over time. I'd like for Polaris to come out on top though.
